Very nice save to an unfortunate issue Toshi.  She's really starting to look like a Cold Lake Starfighter.  Good show.

The long fin on the wing tank that orients toward the fuselage; make sure the angle of it is the same as the trailing edge of the wing.  It's the same for all Starfighters.

I'm not sure what the kit decals are like (thick, won't conform, brittle, etc).  I used aftermarket decals on mine.  If you do have issues with the kit decals, try to find a set of Leading Edge Models or Belcher Bits CF-104 decals.  Both are very nice and there are Cold Lake decals on each.

WOW. Too bad about the tape problem. Whenever I use tape, whether it is the blue tape or Tamiya tape, I always first press it on my work surface a few times to remove some of the stickyness. By doing this I have never had tape pull off paint.

Nice work Toshi.  In the spirit of helping you create a pretty accurate CF-104, there are a few things, paint wise, that you might want to do.  First off, NMF CF-104's in Cold Lake, Alberta were painted differently than those based in Europe.  Cold Lake CF-104's were painted as depicted in the thread below.  NMF CF-104's in Europe had Gloss White wings and horizontal stabilizers (top), aluminum wing tanks and the undersides of the wings and horizontal stabilizer and the bottom part of the radome was grey (Model Master Gloss Aircraft Grey) is almost an exact match.  Here's a link to a Cold Lake two seater that I put together for a group build over on ARC.  I'm not doing this for accolades.  It's easier for me to explain with photos.

As you may all know by now, I sprayed the 104 with MM Enamel Chrome Silver.  The chrome silver enamel takes forever to cure.  So I'll be starting another thread. Once the 104 cures, I'll restart this thread.  Thank you for your support.  By the way, the next thread will be a F-22 Raptor by Revell.
