That is really, really cool, Toshi. Are you going to dull the finish or leave it as-is?

Outstanding as always!

FWIW, I have 22 years working the F-15C/D and never saw that pod on that station. Come to think of it I never saw anything placed on those two outboard stations. The pod would go on station 5 (centerline tank) and the jet would fly with either two wing tanks (Charlie configuration) or nothing, just internal fuel.

Whats next?

Kevin

Thank you so much for the information.  I greatly appreciated!  What's next you say?

Well for a Father's Day gift from Mrs. Toshi, I got a Kitty Hawk 1/32 Kingfisher, a Trumpeter 1/32 F-4U 1A Corsair, metal landing gears and a Big Ed Set all for the Corsair.

Sweet Eagle Toshi, I knew you could pull it off. Though I'm an Idaho native and now Washington transplant, that Oregon tail decal is very cool. Mrs. Toshi will be very happy to have that bird in HER collection. Have a GREAT day sir.

Thank you so very much!  I have to agree with you in that the Oregon decal is really cool.  I like it the most.

It's a very colorful decal and adds some differentiation to the F-15.  Although Mrs. Toshi likes the plane, all models must be displayed on the den wall.  LOL!  Thank you for visiting my thread, I appreciate it very much.

wow that looks awsome , very nice look forward to seeing the kingfisher mate :)

Thank you sir.  Yes, the more I think about it, the more I'm leaning my decision towards the Kingfisher!  I personally enjoy working with PE and there's a Big Ed Set for the Kittyhawk 1/32 Kingfisher.  We'll see what Mrs. Toshi has got to say.  LOL!  Thanks for the visit.

Toshi

Toshi I have the KH Kingfisher and IMO getting a Bidg Ed set is an overkill. The kit is very well detailed as is but if you want to add some pe then I would go with something simpler. I just don't see replacing good detailed parts but it's your call.

Thank you for the tip.  I'll Definately look into this and see some reviews on the Kittyhawk 1:32 Kingfisher.  Thanks again!

WOW!!  That is an eye-popping bird!  Now that I have popped my eyes back in, just wanted to say that your work is outstanding.  You did a great job on those decals.

D

Thank you so much Dman!  You are too kind with your words.  The decal that was most difficult was the wing feathers.  It was just too big of a decal.  I had to work fast and be accurate at the same time.  If not, it would have ripped!  Centering everything was the key to this project.  Thank you so much for your support in my projects!  I greatly appreciate it.

Whew! Those decals were worrying me! Nice package there Toshi, you have become the master of your art. I like it!

Thank you so much Hodakamax.  Your words are too kind.  I am most humbled.

The decals were worrying me as well especially the large wing feather decal.  That one was large and I had to move fast and be accurate enough in centering the decal or it would rip!  Luckily for me everything worked out right, I am no master my friend, just another modeler trying to learn from you and Forum members!  Thank you for your support in my projects.  I greatly appreciate it!

Bish

Now thats one impresive looking eagle. Big well done for those decals.

Thank you so much Bish!  You are too kind.  The large wing feathered decal was the most difficult as it was large and tedious to handle.  I had to work fast and accurate by centering everything with the other decals.  Bish, thank you so much for always supporting my builds.  I greatly appreciate it.

To Plastijunkie,

Thank you so very much for the kind comments.  Especially about the demarcation paint lines.  That's very nice of you!  I'm glad you enjoy the F-15C Eagle's decals.  And you are so correct in that Revell should have utilize the F-15 new mold for the decal array!  Thanks for the visi, read and reply!

Hey Toshi

All looks really good Beer. The paint went on with good demarcation lines and the markings are man, just gorgeous! I'm an eagle guy as you can tell from my avatar and those markings are just too much. Too bad they didn't do these over a new mold as with their E model.

BrandonK

Those decals are looking great, Toshi. Those huge decals like that scare the  H E double hockey sticks out of me.

BK

Thank you for the kind words.  The wing (Feathers) were large.  I had to work fast and accurate trying my best in centering everything.  Although the smaller decals were much more simple, I had a hard time seeing them!  LOL!

BrandonK, thank you so much for your support.  Your presence greatly inspire my building of kits!

Toshi

P.S.  I see that you're getting ready for the Kittyhawk 1/32 Kingfisher.  I am considering the Kingfisher for my next kit.

DasBeav

Been away for awhile, Toshi. (Fun, Sun). This bird turned out great! The decals would have driven me bonkers. Can't wait for what is next. I live vicariously through you, Keyda and Brindos since my builds happen at a glacial pace. Again, two thumbs up!

Thank you so very much DasBeav!  Yes, Fun and Sun!  My grandson came over to swim at our pool, so we just chilled out.  Actually, it got a little too hot and humid.  We all went indoors for the AC.  Next thing I know, it stormed and we had some hail.  WOW!  That's Ohio weather for you!  LOL!

The decals were a challenge to apply, especially the wing (Feathers) because it's so large.  I had to work fast and accurate or it would have ripped on me.

I too can't wait for what's next in line for my next build.  I'm deciding on a Kitty Hawk 1/32 Kingfisher with a Big Ed set or a Trumpeter 1/32 TBF Avenger.  I want both but I know I can only have one kit at a time.  Thank you so very much for the visit, read, and reply!

M. Brindos

Whoa! That is really cool, Toshi!! Now that does catch the eyes! :D

Thank you very much M. Brindos.  Yes, the decals are definitely eye catching.

Mrs. Toshi said it looks pretty.  I was nervous with the wing feathers as it was a large decal.  Centering everything was difficult yet a great challenge that I enjoyed especially after looking at the F-15 as a whole.

I already broke off a sparrow missile!  LOL!  And I lost a decal.  It must of fallen off the airframe, luckily it's a small item so I'm not too concerned at this point.  Thank you M. Brindos for all the support you give me, I am so greatfull!
