Here is what's been done since my last entry.  Mrs. Toshi and I visited our niece and nephew in Michigan, approximately 40 minutes from Detroit.

So far, I was able to handle completely finish the engine as you see below.  I just hope I have no more issues with PB.  LOL!

Toshi,

I hate Photobucket. I'm now with Flickr. I always seem to do things the most complicated way but, for what it's worth, here's the way I post pictures from Flickr:

I've been away for a while, glad to know that you've got both kits plus metal wheelstruts and big Edition PE sets, and that you've been working on them. Looks so far so good!

$400/year is way too much to pay for photo-hosting service. Even $40 still doesn't justify. I use web hosting service and I got 5GB space for only $7.95/month ($95.40/year). So far I've stored 26,500+ images (thumbnails don't count), with room for thousands more.

I'm not able to see most of the pictures; just Photobucket nonsense that won't let me see them.

Same here.  What does this Photobucket thing mean?

There is/has been extensive discussion on the subject. To put it succintly, Photobucket want $400/year to allow you to post images on fourums and the like. That's why there are the "3rd party hosting" image placeholders on every fourum globally.

Wow, $400 annually.  I used PB many years ago but switched to Flickr a couple of years ago when I returned to this site and needed to post images (and could not find my logon for PB).  Seems a very poor business model for PB given the number of free alternatives available.  And yeah, that placeholder image is pretty annoying.

Wow, the things I could buy for $400 that I would much rather have than feeding the Photoshop pig. I could invest in 400 bucks worth of Tupperware, maybe, or a thousand feet worth of garden hose, or buy a huge aquarium/terrarium and keep pet bedbugs, or...

Great progress Toshi, PE can really add realism to models as you have shown.

Thank you sir!  PE can Definately add realism and can be unrealistic if not done right.  I try my best to border both sides as PE is a challenge for me.  I walk a thin line.  LOL!

littletimmy

The dime is too small. I cannot get a grasp of what  the size of things truly are. So I'm shipping you a "better" gauge. Hope it arrives soon.

Seriously though that engine is a JEWEL ! Will be watching your progress !

LOL!  I'll use a bigger "Gauge" next time.  Thank you for following!

Well that works, although there is a way of posting pictures instead of links. I don't use Flicker so I don't know how.

This is a stick up! Either pay the ransom or no posting.

Or

Find another site like Flicker, Imageshack, etc.
