My amazing psychic powers are telling me that there is much masking in your future.  LOL.  Seriously, love watching your WIPs, and this is a unique aircraft.  Looking forward to the build.

Oh Boy, I get to watch Mr. Toshi do justice to another kit that i really want to build. I surely hope that the IPMS Orlando show has this one for sale, cuz this year I'm gonna buy the 1/32 OS2U

I'll be watching with great interest and drooling on my computer. Come on Big Ed set, come on Big Ed set.

Toshi,

Your going to smash it out of the park.

Go forth and sand, fill, glue, paint and decal (repeat where nessesary).

Damian

Thank you damouav, I'll Definately want to knock it put of the park to the best of my abilities as you so kindly wrote.

My only issue is that I'm waiting for a Eduard BIG ED SET to arrive!  LOL!  Where are you!  As soon as that arrives I can start on this set ASAP as I'm getting very anxious about this.

damouav thank you for supporting my threads, I greatly appreciate this as well as the read and reply my friend!

Look forward to watching this one

I too am looking forward to this build as soon as my BIG ED SET arrives!  LOL!  No but seriously, I can't start my Kitty Hawk 1/32 Kingfisher kit until my PE set shows up in the mail.

I've been wanting to build this set ever since BrandonK showed his stash of his Kitty Hawk Kingfisher kit on my Monogram/Revell Kingfisher High Tech thread.

I might start a small exterior section today just because I have the exterior Eduard PE set with me.  It's an extra set I ordered by mistake but that's ok, it's worth it!

mawright20, thank you so much for your support and patience in my thread.  It's greatly appreciated!

Yeah, we talking now buddy!  LOL!  crown r n7, I've had my eye on this kit ever since I built the Monogram/Revell High Tech kit.

You see, BrandonK replied on that thread and posted a photo of his stash of this very kit.

Since then, I knew that one day soon, I'll be building this kit!  And that day happens to be the day my BIG ED SET arrives!  LOL!

Oh well, "Oh where oh where has my little Big Ed Set has gone, oh where oh where can it be?"  LOL!  Thank you crown r n7 for your continued support in my builds, this sir means so much to me!

M. Brindos

You now have my full attention my friend lol. This build looks FUN.

No Sir!  You, always have my full attention on your builds.  I'm just a circus passing through town.  LOL!  M. Brindos, you humble me with your kind words.

This build WILL look fun if my BIG ED SET arrives today!  LOL!  But overall, this kit as BrandonK described is fully detailed and ready to go as is.

It might be a bit overkill but you know me, when Mrs. Toshi said get the kit with the extra goodies, I'm not holding back.  LOL!  So my good friend, I really really can't start this kit until my BIG ED SET arrives!  OMG!  Hurry up! I'm dying here!  Crying

Thank you for always helping and supporting my threads my friend, I so am so greatful for that!

If your Trumpy Corsair is anything like their Wildcats, you will love it.  Have looked at it, but yet to pull the trigger on one, will see what yours looks like and decide.

Yes, aren't you the builder of "Tail of Two Kitties"?  Those came out just beautifully.

I know this much, I've built the original Revell 1/32 "Baa Baa Blacksheep" kit and loved it.

So I'll Definately enjoy this kit and from the looks of it it is amazing.  Not amazing like a Tamiya 1/32 Corsair "Birdcage" amazing of which I built two but just amazing for a Trumpeter kit!

If you're a Corsair freak like I am, I can Definately tell you to pull the trigger on one now!

Thank you sir for always replying and supporting my threads, I so enjoy our conversations!

Mopar Madness

I've always liked the look of this airplane.  Looks like its going to be a big build!

Yes, and I noticed many other members including myself, likes the look and style of the OS2U.  It's very unique in it's nature.

As for the size, it has that middle large pontoon so I suspect a large build indeed.  I also have a Trumpeter 1/32 Corsair waiting on a Big Ed Set.

Thank you for the visit sir, it's greatly appreciated!

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Completed Kitty Hawk 1/32 OS2U Kingfisher
Posted by Toshi on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 3:45 PM

To my fellow forum members,

It's been a while since I created a thread.  I've been waiting on a few things to enable me in my builds.

I received both kits of which is a Kitty Hawk 1/32 Kingfisher and a Trumpeter 1/32 Corsair.  I also recieved metal landing gears as well for both kits.  All I'm waiting for of which is taking a long time to receive is a Big Ed set for both kits.  I hope it comes soon!  Until then here is the kit itself.

Thank you all for your patience and also thanks for your visit and support!

Toshi
