And yes, I agree we gotta keep an eye on Wing_Nut.  Next thing we know, he's gonna start building a 1/144 Helldiver with all the trimmings.

Thanks for the support, guys- work hard, play hard, nobody gets maimed- that's my motto!  I think we need to keep and eye on wing_nut- I've got the Academy 1/72 kit and all the etch, and the very thought at this point makes me dizzy!  The next project will have to be simple- like a 1/48... oh, wait- that would be telling, wouldn't it? 

Oh, and one more thing...

Yeah Geez man, shoddy work if ever ive seen it. Thats it!, im never tuning into this thread again. Those HUGE fat knobs are just bizarre. (I know, gratuitous use of the last sentance. Cant re-read it without smirking. God im a child LOL)

I think the radio looks fantastic! I never thought to use tiny pieces of stretched sprue for radio knobs and I've scratchbuilt a few model radios myself.

Perhaps we can have SteveM from the scratchbuilding forum whack his snare drum a few times to wake Abe up.

Chuk, not only do I applaud the work you've put into this kit (lord knows I'd never have the patience), but I also applaud your stance on constructive criticism.

It's refreshing to see an artist take into consideration something an outsider suggested (and even admit that something could be done better).  So many times, all you see is "yeah, well let's see you do better".

Great job and i look forward to your next installment.

Thanks again, guys- and bertman has a point.  Those d@mned dials have been bugging me since I slid and swore the little buggers into position.  There are two problems: the bits of sprue are just too big for the space, and they should be SILVER- not black.  I should change them...

I know the subject of critique can and has been a sore subject on just about every model forum I know of.  Me?  I take crit every day as a professional artist- it all part of the business- and no it's not always easy take.  The thing is, I care about my work- and want to get better at it every chance I get.  One chap on another forum made acomment about the depthe of the kit's LE slat- I hadn't noticed it, but I jumped on the chance to improve the model.  Here, one fella suggested I do the wing fold conversion.  tempting, but I'm building open flaps, so no thanks.   If those knobs do stick out, well, I'd better hike up the boys and get to it!  Thanks- I don't mind any help in keeping on the right trail.

Uh-Oh. Error!

They're tuned to Axis frequencies! That can't be right! HAAAAAAA!
