Great work as usuall, and oh sooo funny. You deserve a long and illustrious carrer my friend. Be it in Modelling or cartoons. My only worry is that you may be modelling your Chuck character on my new look.

I'm back! Work has been exciting- and quite busy as of late. Ah well- it could be worse- I mean, I am getting paid to draw semi-naked chicks with big guns! No, really!! Anyway, I have managed to get some modeling time in here and there- here's a recap of the past month:

It's really inspiring, because I have the old Monogram SB2C in the stash, and I want to do the same kind of bashing and superdetailing on it.  You're showing that with care, you can really do a nice job with a basic model.

Can't wait for the next installment!

Thanks, Baron- this is the ProModeller kit in the AccMin boxing- quite a nice kit, but I just can't seem to leave well enough alone!;D

You should see my toes- all 14 of them!  :O

Jim, Daywalker and all you other fine fellows- I'm still here- just working overtime for a while at the job.  Don't cry for me- exciting stuff is happening- check this out:   http://www.variety.com/VR1117982413.html

I'm the lead concept guy for blur, and helping to put together 30  story art packages for the good folks at Paramount to choose from is a huge job.  Poor Helldiver isn't getting totally neglected, though- the 2nd wheel well is complete.  Work will resume in a week or two. In the emantime, it's back to drawing and painting semi-naked girls with huge guns!   :D  :D  :D

Man Chuk, since i came on this forum a good year and a half ago, ive seen countless quality builds posted on here. Of all ive seen, Armor included, this build is the best (IMHO)

I looked at your websites and would recommend others too, too. Your cartoons are great. You have talent my friend.

That's fantastic work - and all too seldom do we get to see a really well presented, documented, step-by-step "how-to" article.

Very well done indeed....I'm very much looking forward to the next installment.

And whoever it is that does the little cartoons is a very talented cartoonist - my hat's off to him, too!

Thanks for sharing your build, mate!

Cheers, LeeTree

As always, great work.  I like that you have labeled the tools also.  Look forward to more of your work.

I've been watching this build from Day One with great interest.  This Helldiver build is simply incredible!  Congrats on 'beyond museum quality' craftsmanship and detail.  I'm including some of my fathers Helldiver history.  He flew 'The Beast' out of NAS Wildwood NJ.  Included with the pics is the official flight manual, some interior shots and his flight log book.  The blue chunk of metal is part of a Helldiver wingtip from a mid-air 'touch' doing formation flying!  Thank you so much for the detail and workmanship on your project!  jim

ps...I will be more than happy to show more interior pics if needed.

Wow - amazing craftsmanship and a great presentation. Here's a challange for you. Why not cut and fold the wing(s). Show the mechanism and lines. That would really be different. Come on, you can do it!

OMG Chuck!  This is amazing stuff!  The comedy and illustrations add so much to your build.  I have to admit I'm gonna feel a little depressed when this one is finished.  That is unless, you promise to do another build with similar material!

Yeah great idea Daywalker. So whats next?  A 1/48 B 29 with all the extras? Maybe a 1/48 Lancaster? Ohhh maybe one of those giant german flying boats with 6 engines in 1/48 that would be cool.Make a Toast [#toast]
