Aaron- My pleasure buddy!  Glad to help out. Thumbs Up [tup]

congo- Looking forward to seeing more of that large Macchi! Big Smile [:D]

Sean- DANG  That is some stunning work.  Your demarcation lines look perfect, very well done.  I am quite impressed with all of that masking- looks perfect. Bow [bow]

SC- AAACK!  Why am I sending all of my 109s?  With your collection and mine, there won't be any left! Shock [:O]  Very cool stash, amazing isn't it how we do not realize how many we have of something until we pull each one out of the stash and compare. Sigh [sigh]

The worst has happened!  If you listen carefully you can hear taps blowing respectfully in the distance,

Where did Guy go? I could use a chorus of the wheels on the bus go round and round!

Sean you should pay particular attention to the box in the background.  I just realized it is Friday the 13th WWWOOOOOOOOOOOoo!

Valentines Day is tomorrow! Last chance for romance fellows!

Always remember.... one in four people in society are known to be mentally unstable. So if you know 3 friends that seem ok, chances are it is you!

That really is a bummer Aaron, but no worries mate- we'll have you fixed up quick!  Friday the 13th, AAACK!  Better be extra careful today at work, lest I may lose a finger! Shock [:O]

All 3 of my friends DO seem OK, I must be the unstable one. Sigh [sigh]

Woo hoo, your illustrious leader is here, Peeps. All bow before me.

Sean, I was seriously considering rescribing my Arione but seeing yours, and its basically the same, but with floats instead of wheels......the wheels on the Arione go round and round, round and round, geez the bloody Aaroione, i mean Aaron, im not going to bother, it looks sweeeeet.

Crusher, that stash is fantastic mate. Just chuck an 'A' this way will ya.

Aaron, hows the whittling going and your going to have to post an explaination to random pics you post. Who were those sailor guys? Drinking buddies...or cuddle buddies? Well a man as to know. I need to give you extra homework AGAIN. Thers not a more horrible sight in the world than seeing your BV in the bin. Geez, it brings a tear to the eye.

No scooby schemes with your next one. A nice German / Italian lendlease seaplane. Sounds cool. All those in favour, Say 'I'

Mabye that was a mistake showing that pic of my 109 stash. I have three A models because I want to build three different versions. A prototype a eary model with no cooling slots and then a late A with the cooling slots in the cowl. Sorry boys I wo'nt be letting go of any of my A models. They are to hard to find.

Aaron I have not recieved my hand carved model yet.  What is the hold up? I expect to see some progress pics on that clog also real soon! Just give it a good wash in some soapy water this time not sulfuric acid. Herr Goering is becoming very impatient!

Frank I will send your copy of Pirates of the Caribbean back but I'm keeping the 109's! Aye!

Ah Soul Crusher Only thing I have been carving on is my new project. A resin pit with somewhat tricky attachment points Nothing that cannot be easily overcome.  I am enjoying this one much more!  One of those secret projects we talked about earlier!

 BAA BAA BAA!

Dave you will agree to anything won't ya?! No wonder it's all your fault!  I don't even have that kit to paint at all  anymore! I posted the pic and you know it is on it's way to a happier place now!  I was hoping the trash man would get it today but looks like I have to wait until Monday now! Wink [;)]

I got this cool new camera Dee got me that takes much better pics now.  As soon as I figure out how to download the pics? Confused [%-)] I am still in the stone age!

Aaron -That wont be Armadilo's you hear in the trash tonight, it will be Guy !

Icant wait to see the pics of the "Range Maggot" get one of your kids to help you. Sheesch were is that 13 year old when you need him..

How is that resin ? I found the same company makes a office for a T-28 kit I have.

Not much worth showing today, Popped the cowlings off - remasked and painted them yellow. In between  coats I worked on the Junkers 52 Float Plane.

Hey Sean I can't speak for all there stuff as this is the first I have ever seen of Lone Star Models but the detail is on par with Aires, I am sure for its time it must have been the top detail stuff.  The resin is the very thin cream colored stuff that tend to be brittle and there are a few bubbles in bad places but none large enough that can't be easily repaired.

Frank said Verlinden made a nice one but I have never seen it to compare. I just have played with True Details and Aires for aircraft kits. If Updated techniques were used to pour the molds and make them easier to detach it would be as good as it gets!

The T-28? Trojan by Monogram?  I think that was my 1st kit ever!  Still have some parts of it about. I really killed it but it flew many a battle in my youth. What's a trainer anyways! ?

Had a sad sorry figure to and I remember coloring it with a permanent blue Magic marker and putting a shark mouth on it!  I mean  killed it but it was a good time when I was 7.

Great story on the T-28, Sigh [sigh] Those were the good and fun times back at that age - speed building a kit and straffing everything you could find. Loads of Fun..

I think I will order one (T-28 resin cockpit) and give it a try. Hope for the best, as my resin experience has only been a set of wheels for a 109 kit (promodeler)

It was here we were talking about how our pets have caused us modeling grief at times correct?  Well I have so many models made that I hang my 1/48 stuff on the wall way up high to save room.  You would think they would be safe at ceiling level on a verticle surface? Nope!

All i can say, is you must have glued that aerial on well LOL, and whats this secret project your building? It better have a white cross on the tail Mr.

How soon now Sean? Surely you must be in the middle of composing the finished shots. That little hand painting job couldnt have taken too long Whistling [:-^].

Well, i came home from work today and the GF had gone and got my CANT 506b from the PO. Shes a real honey. Like Sean said the kit is a beauty. If it wernt for the rasied panel lines youd think it was released last week...Ish. Here she is in all her glory,

Ive settled on the colour scheme, guess which one, or which one would you lot choose. I did a search for AM stuff for it (You know what a sucker i am for that stuff) and came accross this RCR etch fret. The brass looks ok but the Destructions leave a lot to be desired, LOL.

I also found this Resin engine and wheel!! Update set. Not quite sure where the wheels will go, but the resin looks nice.

There isnt any instructions with the resin so i have to do a bit of searching to find out a good close up of the engine arrangements. I think seeing as i have the upgrades and im a sucker for punishment, im going to do a rescribe of the whole plane. Shouldnt be too hard, should it?

All a little bit vague LOL. I mentioned earlier about paint on the Veltro, well i only got as far as the preshade, but while im in the mood for picture posting,

Guy that 506 B looks like a cool build. I had a Supermodel 1/72 Mc 200 in the stash and the qualitiy of the molds look top notch to me. I gave it to my Nephew when I scores the 1/48 Classic Airframes Mc 200 because it is my prefered scale. Lets see some paint on the Macchi! By the way what is with the bears on the paper towels?

I put in my Andre Bochelli CD to inspire me on the Ro 37. I spent some time inspecting the parts and it looks like a real challenge. There has to be about 30parts for the interior alone. The nose must be cut off and a new one grafted on to even begin the build. I want to make some more progress on my Fokker before I dive in on the Ro 37 first. I know what your thinking. Frank has kidnapped me agian! I just can't resist a bribe. All of those 109's I mean come on! Do'nt worry though I will continue to post here because there is still so much nice work going on here. I am  looking foward to seeing some of those flying boats that you guys are flaunting aroung here.

Guy, that looks like one honey of a kit.  Approve [^]  Looking forward to seeing that one built.  I'm kind of partial to the Spanish marking s myself but I'm sure it would look good regardless which one you do.

Sean, I saw your Ju 53 over on the UAMC forum.  looks like your doing a fabulous job on her.

Now did someone say they wanted to see spots?!?!?! Big Smile [:D]

Lighting wasn't the best for these photos.  I'll have to give the enamels some time to dry and then I'll do the decals.

Dave - Wow that is fabulous Thumbs Up [tup] Did you use a putty to make the masking for the spots (blue tac or what ever the heck that stuff I keep hearing about)

Thanks for comments on the Junkers -  I really like the kit even though it has thrown me a few challenges after praising it Whistling [:-^] Laugh [(-D]

Frank, you are far too kind!

Sean, thanks!  No putty, all freehand.  I've used putty before and it has it's uses but believe me it would have taken far longer to place all the putty for this scheme than it would be worth.  I used silly putty once for a similar scheme and by the time I finished placing all the blobs the ones that I had laid down first had started to settle out and were starting to merge together.  Banged Head [banghead]

Aaron the link i sent was for swannys 1/48 Scale Massi Model Fiat RS.14  Heres the link for everyone else. It looks like a cracking kit but the glass looks a little dodgy,

   http://www.swannysmodels.com/RS14build.html

Dave, you are most definately the AB master Bow [bow]. I intend to spray the smoke rings on my veltro, on second thoughts, thats your homework LOL, my smoke rings. I dont think ive got enough of the Mike grants left . Post a link to your Ju52. I love em. I built the Revell 1/48 and that was huge. It was also a stunning kit as well without any probs or hitches anywhere. Even the corrugations looked great.
