Blush [:I] Yep, never been accused of building too fast!  I forget who it was who said it here first, but I liked the phrase "modeling at the speed of dark". Laugh [(-D]  As for more RA subjects, I have a 1/48 202 in co-belligerant markings that I really wanted to do, but don't think I'll get to it before the GB ends.  I have to admit, I bought a set of Luftwaffe G-6 markings that I am very partial to and considered finishing my G-6 in those and changing my build here to the 202.  but, I fear the wrath of the masses were I to pursue that!

WHAT!!! No RA 109? There will be uproar. LOL As i typed uproar the laptops motor whined in sympathy. Nearly whined as much as my poor legs (Football again Doh)

So come on Entertainments Manager (Aaron) You need to theme these Videos. We know that Franks Mk2 Vid has to have him talking properly and wearing his Optivisor (Sheeesh, shudders)

Bondo has to do his in Italian

Dave has to do some sort of appologetic themed vid, Him being to blame for....mm...well everything really.

then theres the rest of our mottley crue. Sean most definately needs a theme as does SC,

Check out the list from the front page, theres a few who are a bit tardy with thier presence,

Boba Fett. 21st Century Toys 1/32 Macchi 205. Veltro

Congo. Matchbox 1/72 Macchi 202. Folgore and 21st Century Toys 1/32 Macchi 205. Veltro

Luftwaffle.?

Hot-Pb. Classic Airframes 1/48 SM.79

Hkshooter. Classic Airframes 1/48 Fiat CR.32

Sidure. Hasagawa 1/48 Macchi 202. Folgore. (Completed Pge 34)

Jeff. 21st Century Toys 1/32 Macchi MC.202. Folgore

Alas...I find that if I do more than one GB at a time I'll end up gluing my PBY's landing gear on the sparviero! Now that would look just darned silly. I'm still in boss, actually I finally got my photoetch for the Sm.79, the CA kit I was able to snag was missing the PE set, so I picked up an Eduard's set. We'll see if the PEbits I want to use (torpedo braces, steps for the rear entry hatch, etc) fit reasonably well since they were designed for the Trumpeter kit.

Uh-oh, looks like somebody hacked into my account again and posted this heresy about changing the markings!!!  Only a day after posing as me and sharing a poorly fudged video of "me".  IS THERE NO JUSTICE IN THIS WORLD?  Please note, those responsible for this outrage have been sacked.

I know, I know...but as Van Halen says, "I don't feel tardy"...Whistling [:-^]

Work is hectic and I've been a real road warrior to avoid being one of the many getting let go in these tough times. So far, so good, though.

I finished a build started last year, so I am ready to open up the Macchi later in the week.

I've alos been avoiding Aaron since the Steelers wons the Super Bowl. Am I allowed to say that? I know its a copyrighted word...

Ah ha, here they all come, lurking in the woodwork.

Good to see your still about Hot-pb. Im really looking forward to seeing what you can do with the Sparrow. I built the 1/72 Italieri version and it was a real gem. Im deffo gonna get another one at some point. I may even do the Trumpy 1/48.

Shooter, I realise you have the Blackbird on the go and its a stunner BTW. Another build im looking forward too, as well as the CR when you get to it.

Frank, Sean and I are rallying the troops, blazing torches and greasy poles at hand, ready to persuade you that RA is the only way. Get my gist soldier!!!

Your Highness, so nice of you to make an appearance. Dont think that we go easy on Royalty here sir. Great news about the start of the Macchi. Should be another premo build. As for the Football, you can all talk about it as much as you like....When you learn to play it like real men, By kicking it and not wearing fat suits Big Smile [:D]

To all you late comers, if you check half way down the previous page youll see your homework. Oh yes, HOMEWORK (As such LOL) Im sure before the posting date, we'll think of a theme of some sort. For instance Frank is deffo going to do a CLEAR one with his optivisor on. LOL.

Aaron, My GB deputy and 1st officer of entertainment, can help with themes. Ill even let him give me one (A theme that is).

Guy...err, those aren't suits....

I pledge to start this week on another 2 month "weeked build".

Back to football. Don;t tell me those are real men. I am an avid World Cup watcher and being a hockey player myself, I've never seen so many "men" flip, flop, roll around and moan...only to come running back on the field 30 secodns later. It's almost embarassing to watch these fellows. My favorite was the guy who was taken out on a stretcher. He returned later in the game.

Hmmm themes? I am kinda the creative freedom advocate Guy? I think everyone should maybe just give a brief Hello this is me as a starting point. With respect to their privacy they could maybe show themselves, home/frontyard just to get a feel of who everyone is beyond the words we see here. You know many of you I coorespond with privately and have gotten to know you pretty well.

Since this is a first for many maybe a simple production is in order. Now that we already have a carnel knowledge of Guy and his boudoir. It seemed he had an ear piercing didn't it? and his doggies were very cool. He once PMed me a pic of his street out front which was really cool to see England in the snow. The things like the weather diffs in the parts of the world we live in is facinating in itself as we all seem to be a lot closer here.

I dunno Guy I think it may be a fine idea to leave each to their creative talents. A Workbench or view of finished works can be really cool. Lots of ideas.

Perhaps a pic of FRank with his maybe Italian G-6 or 50 bajillian corsairs. I know I'd sure like to see how you stack your builds. Darren over at the FAA post videos and pics from his secret workshop in England and the view of his shelfs and stash and guard dog are quite cool. Bondo's Italy pics were the bomb!

I dunno we can get a consensous. It could be cool even just to see the scenery.  What does everybody else think?

That sounds like a great idea Aaron. I know we all have to be curious about what we all sound like and what it looks like where we live. Kind of like a little documentary of called this is me and this is where I live. Should be pretty cool as we all live in very different parts of the world. I for one loved Guy's little documentary. Now I just have to buy another camera as I gave mine away!

Aaron, that sounds much along the lines that I was thinking for my video.  I wanted to show you all some of the area I live in as it is quite spectacular (and it might convince Sean to come up for a Mtn bike tour this summer Wink [;)]) but of course there would be a little twist to it! I took today off and had an extended weekend.  Too bad that I was sick for most of it but I'm back on my feet just in time to go to work tomorrow Grumpy [|(]  The good news is I got to spend some time at the bench while recuperating so I took a couple of teaser shots of where it is at tonight.  I just have a few little things to finish up and then I'll take some better photos.

The prop assembly is not glued in yet, still have to attach an antenae wire and a little more weathering.  I did a wash but the trenches around the control surfaces are huge so I'll have to come up with some way to play them down a little.
