Ok, got a start on my Spence. Cut the hull down to the waterline, sanded, removed the molded on walkways and am almost ready to begin actual construction. Will begin by finishing the deck and painting the complete hull. I'll post pics soon, but make no promises as to when "soon" is...

Sweet. Can't have too many zeroes... I know that I'm being a horrible host, but summer vacation will be here for me next week. I'll try to update everything as soon as possible. Also, I have some more kits. Looks like this might be a go.

Ok, first of all you are not being a terrible host. It sounds like you are just busy, and trust me, I know the feeling. I am home schooled so my mom ( aka my teacher ), turns every thing into a lesson, and I mean EVERYTHING!, there is no such thing a break! Ha ha ha!

So I understand about being busy, Jim

And to answer your question, for the most part I use sonlight, but we throw in a few other things too, I can't keep track of it all, ha ha....

So what curriculum do you use?, Jim

Oh! Sonlight! I used that from 1st to 8th grade... I loved it! We use Mother of Divine Grace, a company in Calif. The reason I use it is because it's accradited, so to schools, it's the same as if I went to a private school.

Awesome!, so if you are using Mother of Divine Grace does that mean that you are Catholic too?? Because I am!!

And I just asked my mom, I use sonlight for history but I am also enrolled with Kolbe Academy, so it counts with schools too!

Again, great to meet another home schooler, Jim

As a side note: Have I missed anyone or any changed builds?

Oh, well, so far I do not see my changed build. I will be building a 1/72 scale Normandy diorama I think. With all kinds of conversions, scratch building, figures and tanks, I hope... Ha ha.

Thanks, Jim

I started today, I have about 3 out of 10 steps done.  I added filler to the bottom of the fuselage, sanded down the window on the side, and finished putting together the cockpit.  Here are some pictures...

This was my progress...

Yeah.. me too!

And I just found out that it is to be displayed in 8 days Dead [xx(]

And as there's LOTS of things to do before that day (Making food (all made in WWII fieldkitchens) getting guns outside, vehicles, cleaning, setting lots of items for display in the bunkers, and MORE) will be started Friday, and we'll sleep in military tents at location the weekend..... So I got..5-6 days on me.. Oh geez.. This is gonna get busy!!
