It's all good now. Thanks James. Sorry for pounding on you so hard. I can only imagine all the effort it takes to match people up and get the word out, I should have been a little more patient.

This is gonna be a good one....whooopieeee!!!Propeller [8-]Party [party]

Took the sled out for a spin today to the LHS. Got the goodies for the chimney drop all taken care of and the target has been acquired.

Being a lifetime last minute christmas shopper this is by far the earliest present I have EVER bought in my life!

Santa came early for me.  Just got my present in the mail today.  Now I have to stare at a wrapped present in the living room for two months!  I have purchased my recipient's kit but I am searching for his "dream kit".  Can't find it anywhere.  I'll keep looking as we have time.

There's nothing in there.  It's just a nicely wrapped empty box, sent to taunt you while the real shopping happens. :)

I have the kit I'm sending but am awaiting delivery of some after-market goodies.  Once those arrive, I'll wrap everything up and get it ready to ship.

Found a down side to this "Leavin' the city behind & movin' to a small town" thing--only 3 shops here that sell anything that looks like a model, and absolutely NONE that handle any AM goodies. Well, I better get over to Wally World before they close. Snap-Tite kits are allowed, right?

There's a forum post somewhere that explains how to do it.  Let me find it so I don't end up giving you horribly wrong directions.

Kit was here when I got home from work today. I will be sending it out by Saturday.

James, If I remember correctly, last year Jon asked us to send him a PM when the gift was sent. Would like like us to do that or just post here when the "Eagle Has Flown"?Wink [;)] Whatever is easier for you is fine with me.

Regards,

Jeff

Just post it in the forums.  Makes it more fun for your unsuspecting victim, and is a little easier for me to track.  Or email.  But here in the forums will work just fine.

Well that's no good.

Been sick as a dog for the past couple of days, so haven't been able to keep us bumped.  hard to think of something pithy when you're head is pounding. :)

I haven't been this excited about Xmas since the kids moved out! Kicked up the schedule so that the bench will be clear in time, and I plan to make whatever it is my next build.

Just a quick reminder we'd like to have packages in the mail by November 18th just to ensure things get where they need to go with plenty of time.  And remember, the sooner you mail, the sooner your package can be taunting your recipient. :)

Which reminds me, I need to get MY package in the mail.

Some friends of mine are personally flying my box of goodies to it's recipient.  To whomever, don't open the big box till Christmas!
