Well I guess that eliminates you as my Secret Santa, as it makes absolutely no sense to have your friends fly the 10 miles or so down I-10 to Katy .... unless by "fly" you mean the manner in which the average Houstonian drives ....

As for my own recipient, I have the kit but am awaiting a shipment of goodies from China.  It was airmail in 7-10 days, should arrive any day now.  Plus I have a couple of Squadron books on the kit of choice in PDF format that I need to put onto a DVD to include.  Oh I think XXXXXXX should really be surprised.   <INSERT SINISTER LAUGH HERE>

Big Smile [:D] A GOOD SIZED BOX WAS WAITING FOR ME WHEN I GOT HOME TONIGHT FROM WORK! Big Smile [:D]

So I am not 'tormented' too much, I think I'll have my daughter 'hide' the package.  She'll get a real kick out of that.

It also reminded me that I still need to mail my purchased ******** aircraft to my receptitant.  I said I was going to this week..... Whistling [:-^]

I shipped mine today. Should be there in 3-5 days. That leaves a good 6+ weeks to ripen under the tree! Laugh [(-D]

My first gift didn't work out after researching my vic on the forum.  Early present for meEvil [}:)]  Unfortunately, Hobby Lobby near me is moving to a bigger store so they have been closed.  I think the new one just opened up so I'm heading out tommorow to try my luck again.

If at first you do succeed, try to hide your astonishment.

Not sure if I'll be able to make it to the O'Hare show.  Retail during the holidays means a lot of working on the weekends.  Probably won't know untilt that week if I'll get a shot at heading over.

Package ABC sent today to recipient XYZ.  Seems a little early as just yesterday I told the wife to turn on the AC because it was too muggy in the house, but today a bit of a cold front has come through.  That's more like it.

A cold front in Texas?  Come on now Steven.  It can't be less than 60 of so down there.. Sheesh...  Tongue [:P]

In an unrelated note, I just sent off my box of spare parts to xxxxxxx in xxxxxxxx so he or she can try to build something out of them.  Guess we'll see what happens.  Aquestion for the crowd..Can I open my gift on Saturday for my birthday?  That's what this is all for, right?

Well I did say a "bit" of a cold front.  No, it's not really cold, probably hovering around 60 or so when I wrote this earlier.  Supposed to be in the 40s overnight.  It only gets my attention when it is in the 40s during the middle of the day, though.

Got a package today.  Not ticking or anything.  Not sure yet what's in it.  It's November 19.  That is only a bit more than a month to wait.  I can do it, I know I can, I know I can ....

I must say I love coming home from sea to a new package waiting on the table. However, I can't open this one until I leave and come back AGAIN. Now THAT sucks.

Just gotr home from playing a little golf and low and behold a package sitting on my doorstep paitently waiting for me.  Oh the humanity of this GB and now the wait till the big day. The guessing has begun of what it can be. Thanks SS, still dont know who its from so now the guessing on who its from also comes into play.

Happy birthday swinger by the way, and you still cant open the box.

I got a huge package in the mail today, with two separate wrapped boxes inside.  I'll be a confused wreck by the time the 24th goes by.  But a happy one.
