vetteman42,
Thanks buddy! Appreciate the complement.
Actually the 1/144 scale 38(t) gathered the most attention & started more conversations around the armor table that any other entry. Most never seen that much scratch building on a tank in that scale, the rest could not see the detail due to its size.
Regardless it earned a Gold as well. It was a fun build for me while providing therapy for the affliction of taking ridiculously long periods of time to complete a model.
Supressionfire Congratulations man !!!!!!!!!!! I knew the Chawt was gonna be a show stopper and the other tank is a work of art too. Very well done sir.
Eatthis this TSR is looking nastier and nastier each time you post pictures man
Randy So many to build.......So little time
snow + 4wd + escessive hp = :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7egUIS70YM
Heh everyone!
Entered 'Chwat' in a contest along with a few other models on the 28th.
Never finished the street scene in time, had a trophy shop do up the plaque that will go with the finished vignette. Figured save that kung-fu for next year:
Gold for 'Chwat':
Brought a few I built from out west & repaired some damage & corrected a ghastly 'floating' road wheel on the Marder II. As per my style there was NO AM used on any, actually the 75mm shell tip was 'borrowed' from another kit on the Marder II, the brass is brass of course. One road wheel was too stubborn to sit flat so 'creative camouflage' or deep snow hid the flaw:
The Marder II took 'Best light Armor' award:
Eatthis nice work on those pylons buddy, shes getting there.
I gotta get going on the falcon or I aint gonna make it to the end geeze

the pit is off an f4 phantom and the nose is a 1/32 fuel tank iv tried very hard to make it blend in the tsr2 is a beautifull airplane and i DONT want to ruin it despite heavy modification.
theres still alot to do yet but i was most nervous about the front end
vetteman42 Eatthis I would have to say that your reconstructive surgery would rivel that of any Doc in Beverly Hills man This one is gonna look meaner than auh twister in a trailer park !

long range belly tank and some pylons fitted (all removable)
dang, eatthis, you and those TSRs....
tonights fiddlingim aiming to make it so i can have several loadouts all interchangeable its slightly complicated because i dont want to have holes everywhereim also oing to redesign it a bit mainly just extra fuel space really im still not settled on an intercept/cap loadout but im thinking 6 pheonix (much improved british versions at least) maybe 4 meteors and 4 asraams this could well change though
tonights progress
im just about to start the fgr4 version different front end twin tails (for fleet air arm) and *** load of ordanance

any chance of putting my builds together?
Eatthis I will be more than happy to see if I can make that happen a bit later this evening, they do make quite the stable don't they.
thasnks mate :)
i didnt end up bothering to make the leading edge slats though :)
Eatthis man I am diggin your Vulture and love the concept. That bird looks mean with the canards on it, the shot from the nose made the hair on the back of my neck stand on end. The color scheme really brings out an aggressive look. Well done sir
The front page has been updated with your BAC Vulture Tech Demo (aka TSR-2ETC)
my 3 favourite builds so far from left to right bac vulture (tsr2) tech demo with fbw 120,000 lb of vectored thrust and a bunch of other stuff (including world records) bac vulture gr5 gulf war bird cf109 (liscense built vulture with awg9/pheonix weapons system and a gau 8 in the bomb bay)
tsrtastic lol
il put another gloss top coat on when iv done the final touch up
very sharp eatthis! It might be the effect of the camera flash, but it looks like the model has a kind of "orange peel" texture, especially on the first pic.
ah right now i get you lol
finally finished it and im a happy bunny :) iv got to touch up a cpl of bits but its effectively finished and i think it looks mean as hell. il get some better pics tomorrow
Eatthis oh man I am liking this TSR-2ET Cant wait to see her finished buddy. Oh I never told ya the ET should have been ETC standing for "EatThis Custom".
