obi wan great looking Kate love the look of the alclad on the fish. Steve I am also doing a VAL the color I used that looks really close is british interior green. JOHN

Maybe this will help with your camera, I'm no expert,but as Pixilater says try using a diffuse light source - flourescent lamps, or even beter natural light. The other possible solution is to group a couple of lamps to create a spotlight effect. Just watch out for shadows. I'm assuming that you're using digital camera, as flourescent light can affect colurs on film cameras.

i had, notice the form of the word, a cheap digital. it's life expired before i could kill it. problem solved. Big Smile [:D]

now all i need to do is to actually get the materials to finish the three kits i have started and to get a better camera. but thanks for the advice i will use it the next time. Thumbs Up [tup]

Just received and read the Dec. 2001 back issue FSM article on the 1:96 scale Akagi. Great! Am interested in contacting the builder of the planes on the ship. Would like to talk to him about his research and his sources. His name is Brad Sekigawa. I know it might be a reach but, can anybody help with this?

just an update. doing the plumbing on the landing gear, first time i have tried this. actually looks pretty good right now. used 28 and 24 guage wire. hope the paint takes to it. going to hand brush the gear and the immediate area, then going to airbrush the underside of the plane. wish i had a camera that i could post the progress pics.

I've been away for a week ,the internet node in my area ont access to FSM
forum anymore.Took me a week to realize this(thanks Pix) and use a different line.

good luck on the move Domi I'll be facing that myself in about 4 months.
maybe u guys can give a few tips on packaging and building a new workbench.

Thundergod - I believe that there are still people working on builds for this group. We never set a finish date, though.

If your Zeke is an A6M2, it would be appropriate. The Grace was not yet in service at the time of the Pearl Harbor attack. The P-40s were B or C models, if I'm not mistaken.

Welcome aboard if you're joining ! (I finished mine a couple of monthe ago)

About the p40's I only have the flying tigers which I think is a K version. So would that be ok if not I Sad [:(]

I guess I will have to do the Zero from fujimi kit came with hellcat as well (which I opened the box after 6 years and is not that impressive). Whistling [:-^]

Well here is my P40 K i know its not in the time frame its all I had I am also doing the zero as well seeing there is only like 34 parts to it .It amazing what you can do when you get laid off from work Tongue [:P]
