Carl, I built mine for the 8 wheels GB... it was called 'Achtraden GB'.  It was my FIRST GB about two years ago and my first kit to built after a long break.  I had fun and the group was awesome too.

I painted two figures for this 234 BUT I haven't started doing the base yet...

Now I am tempted to pull my DML 234/2 Puma out and build it!  I don't have 234/3 and 234/4 but it is my goal to build all four before I leave this planet...

Andy , is that the DML kit ? Great looking build on the model and those figures look great also . I cant do figures with a hoot myself . I'm tempted to order one of the DML redentions of the 234 ..........tempted yes ....but my stash is so huge now i dont know . Oh well , more fuel for my funeral pyre !

OK, here are my first WIP pics. Building major sub assemblies first and then going to add small fiddly bits later.

Eric , i'm still at it ! I had some critique on the finish of the mufflers so i re worked them .

Ditto Eric.....still looking at the tools that need painting every time I walk by it.....sigh....maybe tomorrow night...

Carl-dunno who offered 'critique' but the original looked great to me....of course, the reworked version looks great also...what was your technique to achieve the 'rust' effect?

Bob Thanks , it has been altered even further .I've been posting with William Carls and he offered me some ideas . what i ended up doing is using lacquer thinner applied with a stiff brush and then stippled the surface with the brush to make it rough . I painted that panzer gray , then dry brushed with rust and over that with leather , all model Master enamel . finally i touched it up with some pastel chalk colors .

Yeah Bob, I get it. I'm done with the self-pity thing, now I'm in the anger stage. Hope to get some work done soon.

I'm stuck on the camo pattern. Still can't find anything I really like. I need to get the periscopes done. So, I'm a little in neutral until I get the camo down. Still can't decide if i want one or two colors.

Eric-are there any solid one color scheme's in the mix?  I keep wanting to do a one color & weather it well....maybe for the next GB.....

For the Jagdtiger? I believe so. At least I've seen modelers who've done it. I admit that I get a little tired of the tri-color camo, but this beast is sort of calling our for it.

I've been plugging away (although I lost two days to go to the weathering seminar with Boyd, Nate, Thom, Scratchmod, etc) on the Sturer - wrapping up painting tonight, hopefully. Will put an update together in the next couple days time permitting.

Also been playing with the figures from the DML Sturmartillerie Crew - think they'll work out nicely if I can get them painted up in a satisfactory manner.
