 MAJ Mike:

Golly gosh, looks like I'm the only member of the Dark Side here. Huh?

Negative sir.I'm building an armored car.

Good.  Maybe ozman will do a consolidation of entries so we all can see who's doing what.  The only Soviet armored vehicle I've in the past 30 years is a T-34/76. Big Smile

Maybe I'll join you with some armor later in the year, sir. I need to grind down all those in progress builds first. I got plenty of 1/35 Soviet AFVs in the stash and have had my eye on one for later in the year anyways. But the MiG was already begun...

I'm in.

1/48 Zvezda La-5FN. Planning to do it all opened up, and I'll be replacing the kit engine with a Karaya Shvetsov Ash-82FN. A whopping $11, for a Vector-quality engine. Win!

On the Bench: 1/32 Trumpeter P-47 | 1/32 Hasegawa Bf 109G | 1/144 Eduard MiG-21MF x2

On Deck:  1/350 HMS Dreadnought

Changed my mind.  I've got a Tamiya 1/35th T-62A that I want to build.  I'll get on it after I finish the Panzer III.

Colorful, has all the appropriate elements.  Certainly worth consideration.  Much better than anything i could make.

Okay, two more people and the GB will start! For the dates, I am thinking of May 25 2011 to May 25 2012

The badge..  lots of bad ideas come to mind:

Made in USSR, Fixed in Poland

Made in USSR, not for domestic use

In Soviet Russia, model makes you!

Made in USSR, Bozhe moi!

I like that one!!

If crossovers are allowed I am game. I have a barely started MiG-17 I will be tackling on the MiG GB. But it wont be till Mid Summer at least...

Ditto with mig-31

if not too busy i'll add after the su-34 (in the box, only some weapon glued) or the antonov (just some glued part)

I'd like to jump in on this. I do not have a kit yet but I can look around to see what I can acquire!  I will let you know what i can build if and when this GB becomes official.

I can also help with the badge if you need me to.

Dre

I have a Trumpeter MiG 3 that is just looking for an excuse to be bumped to the head of the production line....  what are the start/end dates of the GB?

What he said.  I'm also in the Panzer III GB that starts 1 July.  Doesn't really matter, I've got a pretty empty dance card.

What about the GB badge?  I'm no good with Photoshop, but I can skillfully snark from the back of the room.

Put me in for either a DML 1/35th BMP (have to dig in the stash to see what version) or a DML 1/35th T-72.  These are from a 20+ year stash and i need to build some of them rather than buy new stuff.
