I'm a tad late, but hey, who cares. I would have won the war initially with a Tomahawk in North Africa, shooting down 3 Italian and 1 German aircraft, and then I'd have transfered to defend Malta in my Spitfire Vc... In mid '42 the squadron was converted to IX Spitfire, and myself promoted to Pilot Officer. I would've built a P-40, but because I had a Spitfire IXc lying around, she took the honours... Let the games begin!

While studying the various markings of P-36s, I came across many plans and models of solid wood planes. Them, and the magazines they were featured in, inspired me to build a solid wood plane for the build. After all, scale kits in the early 40's weren't plastic. Here is a P-35 that was made from a block and sheet of balsa. Comments are always welcome, just bear in mind that it's the first plane I did this way. Now back to the P-36!

Hi, update time. The secret project is almost done, should have pics up in a day or two. After that, assembly line time for the P-36 and the Tomcat I'm building for Don Hammerloni. The F-14 gets priority due a visit from the Don's "associates".

Herr Manstein, You should do a squid boat for this build. Put a couple of 5in guns and a rack of depth charges on her and make it a coastal "Q" ship!

Carlos, is that a WIP?

Herr Manstein, what are you building for this epic build? Is it a sub, or did you pick a plane?

Reasoned

What would you think of a Buchon built with the same color scheme as portrayed in the movie "Battle of Britain" but with a fictional marking for pilot "Lt. Reasoned"?

BTW, nice Texan Scorpio! Beer

The kit was actually released in the early 1990s with markings for aircraft used in the movie.

http://esm.wikia.com/wiki/Hobbycraft_1/48_Hispano_HA.1112

I'd like to see a Monogram He-111 released with a Merlin engine option for the CASA 2.111.
