Not forgotten... headless body is still standing right in front of me on my work bench.  Am swamped with GBs... note to myself, never sign up for more than two GBs at a time.  Commited to four GBs a month ago... now down to three including this.

Manny- Is that a figure of yourself?  From Dragon figures set that was released recetly?

Seeing as everyone else is jumping in with updates, I'll give you mine.  The P-36 is awaiting camo, weathering, then it'll be done. Looking forward to seeing these M0J0's done!

I have many books and my Lair smells of rich mahogany!!! Stay thirsty my fellow MOJOs!

Actually I am about to take a break from my StuG build so it will be a good timing for me to work on this.

I was talking about this figures set from Dragon.  But I am not sure if the general on the left is actually Manstein.  His @ss looks way too big...

That is based on a photo that was taken just after his unit over-ran the Russian Field Bakery unit - probably hiding some pastries back there. The guy second from the right is stirring some cookie batter.

Sure, here it is... Dragon #6702.  I saw it at my hobby shop last weekend but I didn't buy it.  Maybe next time... it would be wise to buy it now before Manny buys every of one.

Cookie batter?  I doubt it.  Based on the look of the last figure at right, he doesn't look too thrilled.  Bet you Manny's mistress it has something to do with cats...

Since I plan to build an authentic, (imaginaryConfused) "Battle of Britain" movie Buchon, I wanted to use the Gruppe badge used in the movie.  One of which is shown above, the other is the same blue/white shield but has a swastika in it.  Since I have a Yellow # to use, I would use the one above.  I believe Hobbycraft also ran a Ha 1112 "Civil Schmitt" with the proper decals but alas.....

Yeah, that's the kit.  Occasionally it will show up on Ebay but since I've already got the "Spanish" kit I am probably going to use an extra Gruppe badge from another 109 kit and kind of wing it.

That can be done.

The eagles holding the red swastika are similar to those used by a real squadron.

It's getting there, the camo needs to be sprayed, then just wrap up the loose ends. I'll post pics once the paint is on .

Boy, bench time has been a challenge lately.  Starting to come together, not happy with the wing roots, or the office fit.  No location pins for the faux guns on the cowl and am building the 20mm wing guns from scratch.  Have to review the movie again to see if I need to attach the wing "bulge" for the gun housing.  I have A Lot of cleaning up but it's a start, a couple wips on the Bouchon 109.
