Ed, not sure if you painted the deck before the stripes went down, otherwise I'm not sure how your going to be able to mask off around the turret where the stripes start.

Looks good Jack.

Not much got done today sadly.

Nice work on that armored beastie,jg.

I'm just gonna free-hand the turret base. That kind of painting isn't a problem.Years of painting GamesWorkShop miniatures was great practice for stuff like this.

Enrico - WOW! That is some beautiful airbrush work on your biplane. Can't wait to see the progress on that one! Yes

TD4438 - I love the red & white ID stripes on your Roma, that will certainly add some colour to anyone's warship collection. Cool

Well, it beats dealing with a hull breach in the daughter's diaper. I think.

Actually hasn't been so bad save for the outboard flaps. The bracing triangles inside the wing needed to be 7mm x 2mm, and marking and cutting to that level of precision is near impossible when the pencil lead is .5mm! The bigger triangles were a lot easier. On the flaps themselves, I went with a 3mm height, and I'm planning on snipping them down with some Xurons.

LOL !

Probably on 1/32 a further precision is needed Surprise i just cutted a plastic strip with the same width of the flap and cut litter rectangles that was cut in diagonal way and two structure at time was maded... but for measurement i used mostly my eyemeter, When glue dry i sanded with metal file to make them at same size

this one of reasons i build only 1/72 (space and money are the others Embarrassed )

I'm fighting to finish my zero for the jap GB ,then will going deep on the Veltro detailing, collected already good references for the planned mods.

I wish I could do a/c camo and scratch-building like you guys.Just looking at it makes my head hurt.

Camo added to the turret bases.I continue to be amazed at how long it takes for even the simpler procedures to be completed. There's a few hours work in here somewhere.

TD - I'm just as envious of your shipbuilding, PE adventures and painting of candy cane stripes! I'd have made a right mess of those no doubt!

FINALLY ready to call the flaps and all the control surface craziness DONE!

Have the various scoops and some bits and bobs to go (and a lot of filling and sanding), but I'm actually closing in on paint. I think.

Great patience work Enrico !!

Waiting the zero to dry i worked a litte on the veltro

Builded the engine fixing bulkhead, too hard to find the exact size of the piece ,i needed to do it with three pieces

and reinforced on the back

also cutted out original too bad exhaust

more pieces added to the right cockpit wall
