Thanks for the kind words, buddy!

I just finished reshaping the right gear bay to match the left one. The wing joint is going to need some more work, but it's a nice, solid bond. the only problem are the now misshaped gear bays (a bit too big and there's too much of the cutout visible from the front of the wing). their forward edges aren't as nice as they used to be either, but as long as you don't turn the model upside down and compare it with one of my other 190 models it should look good enough...

The big focal points of this particular 190 (open gun bays and engine panels) are all on top of the aircraft anyway...

Oh My Gawd Clemens! That's just plain nuts. I'm really bummed that happened to you. I must say that, for the life of me, I'm completely baffled. It sounds as though you have done as well as can be expected to pull off a repair job. You're a shining example of the little saying that Joe and I share often, " It's not in the mishap but, rather, it's all in the recovery". Keep your spirits up and those 190's rolling.

Thanks for the encouraging words. It really means a lot to me coming from you guys!

I just started filling all the ugly seams with some Mr.Surfacer 500. After that I'm going to have to do a whole lot of sanding, polishing and rescribing...

I didn't really make any progress, but I'm almost done with repairing the damage on the A-8. I wanted to wait with the update untill that's done. The next update should be up here either this weekend or on monday...
