Yeap, looks great Ken!

You should try to pick up one of those huge 1/12 cockpit kits sometime and detail it out!

Thank you for the compliments Cliff!

That is funny that you should mention that.  A fellow IPMS member said the same thing after he saw the work I did on the F-4E Phantom cockpit.  But actually, even though I put a lot of effort into it, the cockpit is my least favorite part of the build!  I can't wait to button up the fuselage so that I can start on the exterior.

Hi Everyone!

Well wouldn't you know it.  After having some warmer temperatures, we are now under a tornado watch until 10:00 PM this evening!  After looking at the radar, there is a storm with a reported tornado heading in my general direction.  I will have to keep an eye on it!

Hi Everyone,

Well the storm loss its intensity by the time it reached Lafayette Indiana.  It was only a severe thunderstorm.  My sump pump has been running since I got home from work.  With all this snow melting along with the rain there is a lot of flooding.  A small river is flowing along one side of my house!  (And no, I do not live next to a stream or river, normally!)

I got a little more detail added to the front instrument panel tonight:

Tomorrow evening is our local IPMS Chapter meeting. I can't wait to show off the cockpit to Don James, the pilot of the Hoosier Hotshot!

Ken: Hope things clear up for you at least a little. Last couple of days here have been around 60 degrees and the snow is melting away like a bad dream. On the down side we're supposed to get cooler temperatures and more snow next week. Hoping it will be only a flurry or two.

Glad you didn't have another severe storm, Ken. Enjoy your meeting! Smile

The sun was out today.  But unfortunately there is a lot of flooding now.  The rivers are all clogged from ice jambs, which is making the situation worse.  There is record flooding going on.

Our weather forecast is going back to the same ritual.  Snow tomorrow night, followed by single digit temperatures by Tuesday night.  They are also predicting that the first week of March will bring us record breaking cold and snow.

Thank you Russ.  We had another great meeting.  I am now the official contact for our chapter.  I am now holding an office position!

Hi Everyone,

Today is our last day of this group build.  Tomorrow will be the first day of the "Third Annual Berny Memorial Group Build".  Here is a link:

What ever you are in the middle of building you can carry it over.  When you finish it, if you would like to have it posted on this group build, that will be fine by me.  Just let me know.

Just getting ready to hit the sack and thought I'd take a quick peek at things. Didn't get much done on my plane as work and personal stuff took over. This weekend should find me at the bench getting some small stuff accomplished. Weather still sounds messed up in Indy there Ken and as you said more record breaking temps on the way.....so much for the global warming theories! IMO it's just a cycle that the earth goes thru.

I understand how you feel about finishing up the cockpit and getting on. We get so wrapped up in one area we sometimes need to get back to the "big picture ".
