Eagle: Great job on the V2, I really like the platform and scheme.

It is great to follow this GB, lots of talented modelers!

I am currently working on the engine and seams at the same time, did I mentioned that the sanding part on the construction process is the stuff I like the least? So I alternate between the two tasks to keep it interesting.

Very nice work, Eagle.   That camouflage is quite catchy and appealing!  You did a good job with it.

That is a good looking engine, Jorge.  Almost as an "oily" appearance to it.  Looks very realistic.

Thanks Joe and checkmateking02. The snow is a mix of baby powder and table salt. about half and half. I used hair spray to fix it to the model.

The Tiger looks great!! I'm freezing just looking at it. I can't even imagine what they went through on both sides. I was in a cold weather infantry unit when I was in the Marine Corp and was cold with good gear.

That is an awesome snow effect....very lifelike.  Excellent job.  I like.

Now it's on to the diorama. Not sure on what I am going to do but it wil be set in the Ardene's. Need to get the materials to make the pine trees and ground cover. I would love to get Precession Ice and Snow but that may have to wait. There is a great web site that has pine tree kits and ground cover material. it is The Scenic Factory. http://scenicfactorydio.com  they have a bunch of things that will make a great dio.

I was going to recommend looking into the model railroad stuff. There are some great options from Scenic Factory. Look at some images of winter railroad layouts to maybe spark an idea.

Okay Jorge after your great engine, you have to look away now.

It was only going to be OOB weekend job, but I keep noticing things on the kit that I can fix  up easily...

So I made up a cockpit and added a few things to my sad powerplant.

Fuselage is now closed up, and other things I have noticed  and could not leave alone are the football sized wing lights, the exhausts, the formation lights on the spine a camel would be proud of, the cooler intakes under the wings, trim tab actuators... I need to stop noticing things.

Eagle, well done on the splinter, I always found it harder than the curvy stuff.

Nomad, ditto the temperature dropping on seeing the Tiger, looks great.

Thanks all for the comments on the King Tiger. I was worried how the snow would turn out. I found out how to use baby powder and table salt on the internet. They said to use thinned white glue but I thought of the hair spray. Turned out great to me. Now it time to work on the dio and see if it turns out great too.

I haven't forgot about you guys! I am should be finishing up with my Stuka and Airacobra around the same time, and then my P-51 should be in my next "wave" (I somehow tend to do 2 or 3 different builds at the same time.) So expect to be seeing a blue nosed Pony sooner rather than later.
