My plan is to not open it until April 1st (hence the weird angle in the pics because of light reflection off the shrink wrap). But...we shall see. It might get opened 'accidentally' before then.
Its awful how that's some times happens. There you are, a nice new shiny kit all safely wrapped and sealed. And the next thing you know, bang, there's plastic all over the bench just screaming at you to put it together.
The box art sure looks nice on that kit. It would be a shame if contents were left un-inspected. I once read where dedication to modelling could be questioned if someone has too many unopened kits in their stash.
It can be dangerous, however. There is a condition called "aftermarket redundancyopia". On a few occasions, I've ordered Eduard mask or paint, etc. for a kit in my stash and found it 'somehow' was already in the box with the kit. Hmmm.
