Bish
All that extra detail was well worth it, and I have found it slightly addictive. Is that the Airfix 24th 190 above it.

Yes, that's my 1/24th FW for the FW-190 GB. Of the two Airfix kits I much prefer the Stuka over any of their early 24th scale planes. If Trumpeter were to add a 24th scale Stuka to their line up I would certainly grab one, even if it was a B-2.  Now to try to and wrap up a few other GB's I'm in.

From what I have seen, the Trump kit is going to be a D-3. I had hoped it would be a D-5 as that would convert easier into a G-2. But I guess if the 3 does well, they could do a 5 later. Still no idea of a release date yet, but if I hear anything, i'll let you know.

I do like the look of that 190, but I think I will only be getting Stuka's in this scale, other wise it willl just star getting silly.

They do take up some space. I have just one more 1/24th in the stash which is the Trumpeter BF-109-G6.

It's very tempting to crack that open but I have so many other great kits in the stash that I want to build and at my age I'm running out of time.

Not sure how old you are Scott, but I am in my md 40's and starting think like that as well. So many models, so little time. It does mean I am now far more selective on what kits I get now.

I'd like to add my thanks too, it's been a great GB and a wonderful learning experience. Those big scale kits sure are attractive, and I see them somewhere in my future as well!

Interesting point about planning for the future in terms of getting through our collections -- at last year's completion rate it will take me a hundred years to build what I've collected, so this year I'm trying to do better! :-)

Outstanding Stuka, AS!  And the video is great, too.  Very well done.

Amazing work you guys have done.

Haven't forgotten about this GB, but have been sidelined with life issues for quite a while. My stuka is almost finished... possibly have it done by the end of the month or so. Got some priming to do tonight on several parts for it as well as other projects and commissions.

Not sure if we're still supposed to be posting here or not.

I'm trying to get my Stuka as done as it's going to get within a week or so, FWIW.

Thanks, Bish.

All clear-coated up and ready for decals. Might have the RLM70 and 71 backwards. My first splinter camo attempt.

Oops, I was going to PM you Bish, you beat me to the punch.

Last of the decals on this afternoon. I know you want to post the closing wrap-up, and I recommend you do so.

I might be a week away, or it could be much longer. Wilted Flower Just no sense waiting.

That'd be great. Above and beyond the call of duty, my friend.
