Yup, I used MM enamels for the stuka, I've been using a testers clear gloss that is a acrylic just for air brushes and a MM acrylic clear flat when I'm done.

You guys are really plugging along. Reviewed the last 5 or so pages, looking good, gents.
John, What kind of paints did you use?
I have Testors MM enamels and wasn't sure if it was correct or not. Here is a He111 I did with those paints.
I know what you mean Doug. The thing with aircraft is that they tend to be kept on large open flat pieces of ground. Unless your doing them in a hanger or hidden in trees, there's not a great deal you can do with bases for aircraft. I try to liven them up sometimes with different scenes, but most of the time its pretty simple.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Hey Bish... Yup, Nothing real fancy but I think that (like you) it just kind of brings your work to life, kind of tells part of the story. Pics of camo coming up soon, I have the first phase done and am starting on the 2nd phase now,
Thanks, Doug

BYOOOTIFUL, John! Now she looks like a Stuka! I can't wait to get mine to that stage, but I'm still messing around with the cockpit and detail painting, while I plow on with birds for the Butcherbirds GB which ends in a few weeks...

Nice splinter scheme John! Nice clean work.
As promised, Here are some updates I did last night.
Almost done with decals, just the small stuff left then on to weathering.
Wow its been awhile since I've been on. Great work going on here. Haven't had any bench time lately. Lots of outdoor projects and my tournament bass fishing season started. Also just dropped $1800 on the wife's Trans Am
Looking fine there Doug.
OK... Got some more done...
Hella Blue is done...
Sand Gelb is done... Next I begin the camo scheme...

And I'm doing DECALS! and finishing masking the canopy and spray it. Pictures tomorrow!
Man you've got that right Bish!!! lol ! I got the factory applied splinter camo applied to the elevators this morning and will be moving on to the field applied camo on them tomorrow morning. After that I'll start work on the underside with the dive brakes, landing gear, bomb and stuff like that.
mustang1989 RLM 02 for the interior on that one until after 1941 I think. Bish is the expert here.

That's the general rule, except for the IP. But as was mentioned earlier by a couple of the guys, there are suggestions that the darker colour was used earlier.
As anyone who builds a few German aircraft or armour will know there's the rule book, and then there's the German rule book.
I believe after late '41 they switched to RLM 66 (schwarzgrau) for the interiors. As you said 68, this one will help get your *** back for sure!

I wasn't sure of the interior colors but I'm building this one straight out of the box anyway. I have to get out of the funk I'm in.
I actually cleaned it up a bit for the photos.
