WOW Doug, don't hang about will you. Even for semi retired, that's damn quick work. I just had 3 months off work and couldn't even come close to that, though I did try.

Thanks Bish, I agree about the antenna wire.  I usually do stretched sprue, but for some reason I couldn't get it to work right, so I used some of my wife's polyester thread.  I'll have to look into the EZ line.

I have a ways to go before I can even think about retiring unless I win the lottery.

You and me both. I have my forces pension, but that's no where near enough to live on.

EZ line is really good stuff, I would defiantly recommend it.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Reasoned. Doug ,.......LOL! I was looking at the decaling this morning and I'm just going to have to live with what I have. The crosses on the sides of the fuselage are wider than my white band. Man I'll tell you guys that's rather disappointing that I didn't notice that until now as I put alot of effort into the paint on this thing. These Tally Ho decals do suck down to detail great but they are off a little in size. I had everything measeured up and painted for the Cutting Edge decals and that includes the crosses. All I can do at this point is make her shine the best I can from here on out I guess. Wow.

Thank you Reasoned... Yes the "innards" are pretty sparce, I added a few things that dont show too well being so compact, but my main focus on this one will be the paint and finish. Thanks again...

Yeah, no kidding Doug, I go on a 10 day R&R and boom! You're farther along than I am after working on that thing for a couple of weeks.  BTW, your crew looks great, she is pretty sparse in that office.

Good God where did THAT come from/???? I thought I saw pieces of a Stuka fly by and somehow get built within a few seconds there!!!!!!!!!!!

OK... Lets see if I can post now, after trying twice with no success I gave up...

This is one of my old Monogran kits circa 1964, And any one whos built one knows they are sadly lacking in detail... Soooo, I will be kit bashing and relying on  my spare parts bin, and plasti-struct to try and add some detail.

Well we are atleast going to have a crew,,, Crew compartment bulkhead, radios, and about any thing else in the office has to be bashed or made from scratch.

Landing gear on this one will be exp[osed, spatless... also made some dive brakes.

Wings attached and on her legs. The little thin whits was the only Gap I couldnt get to seal without a .010 strip of plasti-struct... Pretty lucky.

Primed and ready to begin paint... I have a bit of paint started but not uploaded yet... Tis all for now...

LOL... yeah, Bob,,, I'm semi retired speeding head long into full early retirement within the next ( maybe?) 2 years, and really just cant wait... and besides that, I have a love and fascination with th luftwaffe aircraft  specially the 190 an 109... But really, its just that Joe runs an amazing GB!

Bob, really nice work on the Stuka. Not often we see a night attack version, you have done a really nice job. The only thing I would suggest for future builds is a thinner antenna wire if possible. Maybe some EZ line, that stuff work wonders.

I know what you mean about time, there's just so many GB's to build for. I would love to do a Kete myself for this one, but I think I might be lucky if I get 2 in. Though of course, there's always the possibility our host will throw in an extension.

He cranked out 5 builds in my Butcher Bird GB.

Thanks Joe!  The cross that looks the worst is on the starboard side of the fuselage.  The mask fell off as soon as I started painting, and I didn't get lined back up just right.  And you know, having a full kette sounds pretty good...I'll have to keep an eye out at the next show I go to...

That's some good work there Jim! I was having trouble posting yesterday myself otherwise my post would have been there yesterday in regards to your build. The crosses on the wings turned out great from here and it just plain looks good overall. Could this be a start of a kette of builds?

Joe, the snake is looking pretty sweet!  I stole your idea for the landing light in the wing, I really like how it turned out.  

Here she is, all ready to prowl the night sky.  The flash kind of drowned out a lot of the weathering effects, but overall I'm pretty happy with it.  As always, there are things I wish I could have done differently or that I will do differently on the next one.  Maybe I'll pick up a G model with those big cannons...

or if ol' Hubert Polz knew he was gonna be famous for flyin' it! lol . Thanks mikey!

Mustang; it looks awesome. I wonder if the pilot of that bird realized how popular it was going to be with modelers 70 years later!
