TarnShip

Nope, Stik, it is very dangerous to enter one until it is completely finished.

The only thing I can think of that is worse would be to attempt leaving one while it is being "aggressively disassembled"

Fine by me Carlos, great to see some armor in this build. I got you both updated.

I'm going to build Tamiya's 1/35 M60A1 w/ Reactive Armor. My dad took this picture while he was on a ship going over to the First Gulf War, I'm going to try and model it off this picture.

I think I've seen another angle of it but I can't remember, I'll have to do some digging around.

Can I enter an LVTP-5 that has been barely started? Only the road wheels, sprockets, and idler wheels are done so far. Basically Step 1 on the 1/35 AFV Club kit...

This is just the inspiration I need to get my build I started for the Korean War GB progressing again! It's an Italeri 1/72 F4U-4B in VMF-214 'Blacksheep' markings. Have a wired engines & things R-2800 and a big ed zoom pe set. Still heaps to do on her. Will send some pics of how far along I am soon. Had big plans for this lil bird before the lull in bench time. Cheers

Josiah,

I'd like to join this GB with a Hasegawa 1/48 AV-8B Harrier II.  I have some nice Blacksheep decals in the stash for this.  Thanks!

USMC GB : Now until Sept 2015
Posted by ygmodeler4 on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 3:05 PM

Hello all, welcome to the United States Marine Corps Group Build! The build will start 10 November 2014 to commemorate the 239th birthday of the Corps. As such, you have plenty of time to get some other builds out of the way, if you already know what you want to build that's fine. We can use this thread for discussion before the build. Here are the rules as of now:

Dates: 10 November 2014- 15 September 2015

1) Anything USMC counts, from 1775 til now.

2) OOB is allowed, AM is allowed, Scratch building is allowed.

3) Previously started builds are fine but there still needs to be a lot of work done to it.

4) Crossovers are allowed

5) OPTIONAL: Post a picture of the real thing in the markings you are doing or provide a little back story as to why you're building what you are building.

6) I will make some badges once the time gets closer. Additional "bling" will be added to the badge for people who complete more than one build.

7) WIPs are a must

If there's anything I have forgotten or you think should be added, let me know.

Here are the badges...

1 build completed:

2 builds completed:

3 or more builds completed:
