Brandon it was not FSM.  It was in Model Aircraft Magazine.  July edition.

Greg the engine is outstanding.

Hey all, sorry I haven't been posting much, but I am still lurking via email, and I have a few minutes now, so I had to log on and say that I was just amazed at some of the work going on, in particular Joe's cutaway.

Joe - that is simply stunning. What magazine is it in? I didn't see it in FSM, but maybe I missed an issue? In any case, that is gorgeous, and gives me even more appreciation for these planes.

Great work, all!

It looks amazing Greg. Without all the extra bits I added yours should fit better and more easily. Looking forward to it.

I really admire your humility Joe. You seem to be as good of a person as you are a modeler and I'm glad you were a part of this GB. Looking forward to more conversation here with you bud.Yes

Joe, I know we are all our own worst critics, but that build really is something to be proud of and if I was the contest type, I would put that in one in a heart beat.

Doug, thanks for the vote of confidence. Just going to grab a brew, and then I will start cutting some plastic.

I doubt I would ever enter a competition.  I see too much wrong with my work.

You need to check again buddy Joe. It's good enough.

Many many thanks all.  You are very kind.

Stang I have my Pearl build next.  After that I will be attempting a P-51D in 1/32 as a cut away.

Allen no worries there.  I doubt I would ever enter a competition.  I see too much wrong with my work.

Again many many thanks.

Moose: Great progress on the D model. I have taken a liking to these early 109s as of late.

Joe: Magnificent finish!!! That is stunning indeed sir! What do you have in store as far as builds go next?? Jeez man I can't get over the way this one looks!!!  Got anything among these you want for a pic for the intro post?

Fightnjoe,

I thought that was this 109 in the Magazine! I'd go pull it out, but it's packed for moving. Great job on the build, and great job getting published!

Bish. 1/what????? This is going to be a blast to follow indeed. Glad you see you stepping out of your box, or into a bigger one, or whatever.

Moose, welcome back to your bench. No evidence of all the filling, sanding, and re-scoring which to me is a always a very good sign.
