I've scaled down my number of GB's.

It's hard to believe what I type sometimes! LOL!!

Anyway, I think I have something that will qualify! Wink

Thanks, Bish! Hope everyone is doing well.

Already know which kit I'll be doing. :-) :-) :-)

At two feet, it's a no-brainer for my home office. Just might have to rely on "secondary channels" to get it.

Ok, thats annoying. I am at work and that link is not allowed on this computer, now i will have to wait until i get home. Something 2 feet tall has me curious.

No problem! Not a big deal.

Who makes a 1/4th Boba Fett? Just curious.....

Sorry PB,no idea how i missed this. Screamin use to make a range of 1/4 figures, including Boba. They are long out of buisness but the kits can be found now and again.

Guys, just a quick heads up, didn't want to start a new thread so just thought i wouldpost here.

For those waiting for the next insalment or those who had completly forgotten and those who missed this last time round and are regretting it, the time is almost upon us for another Star Wars GB.

So, just a quick reminder on details. Star Wars GB Ep III will begin on Dec 16th (release date of Rouge One) and will run until the release of Ep VIII (currently set for release on Dec 15 2017). Will be open to all Star Wars related build from the movies, expanded universe as well as Star Wars inspired.

Keep your eyes peeled for the build thread in a couple of weeks and get those Star Wars kits out and ready to go.

Thnaks PB, and sorry about that. I took the details from the front of this threa and i had it down as 72nd there as well. Have correcteboth now.

Seems as though a year long buld is the most popular.

Might give me the chance to build my X-Wing as well. Not quite ready for the 1/4 Boba Fett yet.

I'm also sort of partial to the Dec 16th start and year-long group, if only because I'm so slooooooow and this would give me plenty of time. :-) So my motives are selfish.

Also, Bish, just a quick correction to the round-up--my X-Wing is 1/48 (not 1/72).

Thanks!

I'm leaning towards the Dec 16th Start date and run for a year. But, I am flexible. I've scaled down my number of GB's so 7 months would be fine too.

Ok guys, i finally got around to posting the GB round up.

http://cs.finescale.com/fsm/modeling_subjects/f/6/p/170010/1877331.aspx#1877331

Thanks again to all who took part and made another great GB.

No, Bruce has just made me aware of some new info that i had missed. The release of Ep VIII has been pushed back until Dec 15th 2017, 7 months later than planned. So, after a rethink, we have two options. Star the next GB as planned, Dec 16th, release date for Rouge Squaron, and run it for a year. Or start on May 25th 2017, 40 years after the release of Ep IV, and run for 7months.

Let me know what you guys think, i will leave it open for a while to give you a chance to let me know.

Got you added to the front page PB, and thanks again. And its got me thinking about doing my FM X-Wing (yes, i do have some rebel kits). I already know what i am doing for GB III, but i might have to do this for GB IV.

I have a bit to do tonight guys, so if i can't get the build review up tonight, don't wory, i have not forgotten. I will deffinatly get it up this week.

And thank you all. Remember, GB III kicks off Dec 16th. Thats only 10 months tomorrow, so get your builds ready. Wink

PB,

Very well done, I really like the weathering! You've inspired me to dig out my X-wing for the next Star Wars GB!

Thanks or taking part and extending the GB a bit.

Hey, guys:

Well, despite this kit's and life's best intentions, I finished. Propeller

Thanks for hosting a great group, Bish, you are a gentleman and a scholar. :-) I haven't built a Star Wars model since I was about eight or nine (a loooooong time ago) when my dad "helped" me put together the MPC X-Wing, so it was awesome to bring this full circle.

I didn't really have a plan going in, but ended up with well-worn ship (much like the Y-Wing build). In my mind, this T-65 saw tons of combat against the Empire, both space and planetary, and this is how she ended up after Death Star II was blown up (before the T-70s made her obsolete)--lots of hasty field repairs, patch jobs, paint touch-ups, etc to keep her operational.

Anyway, sorry to prolong this GB, and appreciate everyone indulging my sloooow building pace and letting me continue well past the deadline. I hope to join the next SW GB at the end of the year. I have a FM TIE in the stash, or maybe there will be some new kits from Bandai et al. that I'll want.

Cheers and thanks for looking!

PB

They are ready made, can be posed as you want. Yeah, when I saw the price, the choice between one of these and five kits was easily answered!

Those are really cool, I especially like the royal guard and Boba Fett. At $89 and up, though, I don't think I will pay that.

Hec yeah, there is still interest! Looking great there PB! Funny how life tends to get in the way of our plans. Can not wait to see the final product.

Bish, are you still planning on putting the completed builds on  the Sci-Fi forum? I only ask so that I don't post unneccesarily.
