mustang1989 Thanks Seabe and I'll make the entry. Say.............is anybody having trouble with PB again? This'll make almost 3 days for me to not be able to access the site.

Nope - I just went in there without issues - and my pics are linked to there. I did get "under maintenance" a couple of days ago, though. But fine since my last upload of the Jag pics.
I'll check it out when I get home. Thanks Seabe.

Hi all,
FWIW, I use my One-Drive folder to post my photos now much faster and easier.
I finished prepping the 53 for paint and plan to spray it tomorrow afternoon.
also got the Windows mounted in the Camaro. I found a set of replacement axles on ebay and decided to go with the factory wheels. The body is so small on this kit the wheels I wanted to use are a tight fit.
L8TR,
Eric
Frame and swing arms assembled and painted. Good fits all round thusfar!
I was very dubious of the suggested paint (TS30 - Silver Leaf) but think it came out okay. Some bit to be done in SGB and some added after the painting, so onwards with that!
Hey all,
Sprayed the last coat on the 53 Ford tonight. It laid down pretty even. I will have to do some light sanding with fine grit paper to smooth it out before spraying the clear. For some reason it looks pebbled in the photo, but when you look at the car it doesn't. Flash maybe??
Eric.
Looking good Eric.
Seabe: Great start on the frame and related parts.
Eric: Color looks good. I'm always nervous after I get the paint because later I don't want to make a boo-boo like nick it during handling or accidentally have plastic glue or super glue on my dang hands and marr the finish. lol
Everybody: Folks this doesn't look like a whole lot of progress but rest assured that it's huge for me because of all the work involved but I feel pretty good about the outcome. I've still got to relocate the spring perches and use a different rear axle and suspension but I'll get to that a little later. Here's some progress pics of the wheel tub and center section mods...........
Before:
During.....
I also managed to clean up the header exit cut out holes on the sides of the engine/ transmission cutout area. Here's the results. Still have some sanding and filling to go on the wheel tubs but it's minimal.
I'm also still working on the clean up around the rear wheel opening on the body. It'll be a bit before I post any substantial progress. Right now it's all in the idea and development part of the build.
Looking good Joe.
Thanks Dan and Eric. Yeah I hear you on the Alclad. I've got mixed feelings about my results but I get a little more content with my outcomes with every try.
I think I've got the rear suspension about figured out to where I can put the wheel in just the right place. I turned to AMT's 67 Chevelle SS396 for that. I sectioned out the framework for the axle well and graphed it into place. I had to shave some off of the axle mounts themselves so I could position the tire /wheel up into the wheel well a little but I think I've got it about where I want it right now. Still gotta figure out the chassis frame work and fabricate rear springs but those shouldn't be too big of an issue. Getting the rear suspension/ differential combo was the hardest part I thought.
I also got the primer coat applied to the body and I'm happy with that. I've still got some work to do as there are a couple of things that didn't show up under the wipe down prior to priming but it looks like it's all manageable, but hey, a guy can't do all this cutting and hacking and NOT have any body work left over to do you know. There are a few bubbles in the primer and I couldn't for the life of me figure that out until.............I let my dog outside and found out that it was raining lightly. There aint that many thankfully and a little sanding outta get rid of the few that are there. Whew!! Got by with that one!
Hey, mustang, that's a nice fit. It almost looks like it was made to fit there.
L8TR.
Thanks Eric. After alot of dang near going blind and alot of cuss words we got 'er whipped into shape.
Mustang - looking good there!
In your word, my updates also won't look like much, but took some work. Esp just getting that base engine block on the Honda built was already a bit of an assembly. But all went together quite nicely thusfar.
So - Ligier is mated to the floor (you'll see a lot of the holes quite clearly now) and also tried to get a shot of the cockpit, but it ended up a rather below-par shot! Difficult size...
Some progress on the Honda's frame and also started out with the engine. Plenty of sub-assemblies to get this far.
Man that's some good progress there Seabe. I like the looks of that engine. Are those the seam halve marks at what looks like the intake tubes?
I havent posted much on this GB but I ve been watching very good builds here . This is my latest build the progress was posted under the auto forum
Nick.
Nice looking 55 Chevy Crown. I like the color combinations
Woooohowhowhoooooooow! Man that looks good Nick!!!! Paint finish and color combinations are out of this world!! I do appreciate you being part of the GB here as I had fun watching this one in and out of it. Let me know which one you want to use for the cover page.
Thank you I'm glad you are feeling better and thank you Mopar D
Here's the interior now finished with seat belts. This is the first time for me to make them I used Less Marks belts and made the metal parts.
Crown and Mopar - those look really good!
Mustang, I have since just leveled those out a bit. I am not too concerned about the join marks, since it is where the exhausts will come in... All four of those came in 3 pieces, then more subassemblies to build it up to this base phase.
Only progress of the entire weekend was starting with the Ligier's (quite complex) rear wing. Just the first of the elements. It already had me muttering some words not suitable for family entertainment. I see a loooong road ahead on that rear wing!
Looking good so far ! Seabe.
this is the pic I like for the cover page
crown r n7 - that Chevy is a real beauty! I didn't know a '55 could look this good! Thanks for sharing and have a nice day
Paweł
All comments and critique welcomed. Thanks for your honest opinions!

Thank you Pawel . I do appreciate your comments
This may seem like minor progress, but it was a bit of a pian. Phase one of the Ligier rear wing completed. Some excess glue, etc. will obviously be tidied up a lot before going to the paint shop. Monaco rear wings in the 90's are... yes well, they are testing.
What looks simple from the front, is the actual top wing elements - the currently whitish elements above the main top black one. There are FOUR! Going into three slots. You can make out one behind the two visible ones. Then a fourth behind and underneath it, to basically create multiple airways upward. Quite interesting design.
Anyways, here it is, on an old 20th F1 tyre I found for size reference.
a diamond in the ruff Seabe. This is my next build 56 Delray the pics are posted on the auto forum
Crown: I'll get your picture posted up in the intro and I'll get that awesome entry on there as well. Great to have you in here for another great show.
Seabe: I understand all too well about what may look like minor progress is actually a monumental victory. Looks great pal.
Dan: Dang dude!!! Those seat belts turned out great man!!! Great to see you back in here building.
Finally got ol plane Jane finished.
Joe use the first picture for the front page. Thanks
Joe use the first picture for the front page.
Thanks
Wow Dan!!! Thats a fantastic looking run of the mill Plymouth. It's definitely a break from the norm with these cars............but the look is captivating in the fact that more of these cars were out there on the roads than the Hemi Roadrunners or GTX's of the day. Got any engine or interior shots of this beauty? I'll get you posted up front pronto buddy.
Gotcha posted Dan!! I'd like to thank you so very much for being a part of the GB again this year even though my attendance wasn't what it was the first year. This year's been a little different for me since my wife's aneurysm back in February and has definitely thrown a "curve ball" in to us in life. We're getting through it and every day seems a little better and better. The casual observer wouldn't know that anything had happened but there are changes. I appreciate you for being one of the guys who stuck it out here with me on this GB and being there in the few times we've talked. I'll try to step up my game on that. Thanks for everything pal, Joe
