                        well, still not sure if it qualifies as a small AFV, but there were no complaints so here are my progress pics

                        I love this kit!Big Smile [:D] very detailed, goes togather good, lots of detail, and of alot of options to make it personal.

                        And now some questions about the 8-rad:
                        1. what does the interior look like? i have the side doors open and i would like somthing on the inside.
                        2. were they camoflaged like the 251s in normany/cean? (tan with green and brown lines, also need to know the paint colors)
                        3. were they in normany/cean?
                        4. i'm probley going to have this bogged down in the mud, did the wheels cause it to get bogged down alot, or did the 8 wheels make it impossible to get stuck?

                        Well guys, hope you haven't forgotten about me, hehe, it's been a while. Sorry. Um, I'm going to change my model, considering I haven't started, it shouldn't be too hard for me, but I'm just making sure it's ok with you all. I'm changing from the M-8 to a german half track. Hate to say this, but I'm not going to be able to start for a while either. In two weeks, I've got finals, which is very very important, and then three days later, I'm going to Europe for 3 weeks. I've got a 4 day break then it's off to Lake Powell for a week. After that, however, unopposed modeling until the week after labor day, which is when school starts agian. I'm sorry for all the delays. I'm going to order all my stuff before I go to Europe so it has 3 weeks to get to me while I'm gone. Sorry again. Hope this doesn't cause any inconvenience.

                        Great work derek and Dwight.

                        I'm still plugging away at my little Daimler. Been trying to fix and finish my Achilles for the Sherm Build (anyone remeber that one - long time ago (groan). Have now scratch built the gauge panels, map case and brackets, spare Bren barrel & mounts and Rifle mounts fitted and pedals added. hoping to do the visor handles, vision block and spare mounts and radio unit over the weekend. Then I can start the outside.

                        Good luck to the rest of you guys still going.

                        ok here are a few recent shots of the jeep. still awaiting the dash plate and havent done the decals yet, but this gives me the illusion of making progress.

                        My 223 is starting to take shape. It is ready for it paint job, but it is still a little way off.

                        Put a thin coat of white glue on the base before you add the celluclay. Normally i scuff up the surface of the plaque real heavy (almost gouging it) to give the celluclay a better grip, then seal it and go from there.

                        So celluclay is the key then to build up the land, I used plaster for model railroars and it looks unreal thanks I will try celluclay.I have everything else.

                        The groundwork was made with styrofoam, the green stuff for flower arrangements (not the type that you soak in water). This was covered with celluclay. Made the tracks while it was wet and painted after drying. the grass is static grass and "field grass" from woodland scenics and the trees are sticks from the yard.
