Exelent Tony, I DO like allot. Interesting to see it in no German scheme.

What is the silver one? Looks like  ME 108 or Bukker Bestman.

I will update the pix page, thanx for taking part :-)

I have also made a little progress on my B-17s interior, will post pix today.

Here you go Theuns, it's done. I hope you like it.

Cheers

This one if part of my collection of German types in French colours. Here is what I've got so far.

I'm just taking it one GB at a time.

Some more work on the Do 335. Decals on, undercarriage bays painted but not weathered. Few bits and pieces attached. Those much lighter patches inboard on the wings are something to do with the light, rather than the paint.

Cheers

Hi Keyda,

I'm just beyond the eastern 'burbs of Rochester (Macedon)   I was SO relieved when I opened the front door this am, the sun was shining, and no new snow had fallen !

Hey B-One !

Nice work.  But you're gonna hafta change yer screen name to C-OneThirty Surgeon.

Hey Keyda,

I saw that you mentioned the Geneseo Air Show in a different post - so I figured you had to be in or near western NY.   I'm shovelling the white stuff with you !  This is a bad storm.

Chris

Yep, good ol' Niagara Falls.  Thankfully the snow has stopped, and the sun is out slowly melting it.  I can not wait for spring!  Where a bouts are you located?

Started work on the sponsors. I am using the Attack Squadron correction set. I had to cut out the left side one because it was molded to the fuselage. The right side is a separate peice .

Very Nice Keyda !

Congratulations.  I know puppies (or any kinda babies) are a ton of work in the beginning.  He's a cutie.

We had to lay our Setter "Elwood" to rest about two years ago.  Miss that guy  *sniff*    Hoping to get another when I retire.

Chris

Your not kidding!  He's more work than baby, at least they stay where you put them, and don't try to chew on everything and anything in your house!  To make matters worse we are being buried in snow.  We've been hit pretty hard with this snow storm, I haven't seen it this bad in at least 10 years.  It's been snowing hard for more than 2 days.  It's supposed to subside in the next few hours, but sure doesn't look like it's slowing down at all.Crying

That is so cool :-)

I have been busy painting the loads of interior bits on the B-17. I will not be going mad with the detail, allot of it will not be visable anyway.

Cute looking little fellow.

The pics with the husky are kind of "oh crap, I've been invaded----if I ignore it, it will go away" and "Kid, don't EVEN think about it, I'm not playing, I don't even want you here.  GO AWAY, or I'll make you go away."

Looking good Tony and B-1.

Hey Keyda - we gonna see a pup pic soon ?

Chris

Lol, he is the reason I haven't been able to get to my bench!  My husky is having some issues with him, so we have to constantly keep an eye on the 2 of them.  Hopefully he will adjust soon.  He's always been a really weird dog, so I expected some issues.  My husky's name is Lucian and the puppy is Kraven.

Theuns

Made a little progress on the O-2.  Got the window openings sized to fit, fuselage walls and floor painted, IP decal on.  Also glued up the tail booms.

I have managed to start painting the interior of this model, it is going to take loads of paint!

The detail for a model of this era is actually really good, allot of electrical boxes and hoses all over the place, its gonna be interesting to paint all of these.

I've got the Do 335 painted. It's waiting for decals now. The paint is Lifecolor acrylic 'Vert kaki', with pre-shadng. Those photos were taken about half way through, the pre-shading is more subtle now.

Cheers

I hear you, I also hate to fill and sand. You must look at perfect plastic puty. It fils light seams and you just wipe it of, no sanding!

I did hear about that stuff, just haven't ordered any yet!  I've tried a few different kinds of putty, testors, tamiya, and one other one I can't remember the name of.  Not really fond of any of them, lol.  It's like body work on a vehicle, and I hate doing that!  I'll paint all day long, bondo and sanding....no thanks!

When you do it for 40+ years to keep the wolf from the door, it grows on you.Big Smile

I got a tube of Perfect Plastic to try on this build, will let you know how it works for me.

I haven't been able to get anywhere near my bench in the last few days.  I have a lot of sanding to do, and I'm not looking forward to it.  Maybe sometime today I can sneak away and start sanding.

Moving along on the c-130j. Won't spend too much time on the Interior since it will be all buttoned up.

Little bit more progress on the Do 335. I masked the canopy framing whilst listening in to a particularly long and onerous conference call for work. This weekend is a long weekend, and it's not going to be too hot, so I'm going to spray it.

Cheers

Spectre is really coming along!

Chris actually the POGO isnt really that small, its certainly stubby though! Fit seems OK, not a lot of detail, but interesting subject. I actually thought about doing a 'What if' - Build it up as a USMC ground attack VTOL aircraft ...sort of a predecessor to the Harrier.
