After it dried I added the antanae line and some Misc. touch ups.

Here it is after the enamel wash.  I’m now ready for the next coat which is a Testors Model Master Acrylic Flat Spray.  Sprayed out of my trusty old NEO by Iwata Gramity Fed Airbrush.

The Gustav is ready for pre-paint.  So I’m trying to set up my painting space at this point.

Sorry my fellow Forum Members of FSM.  I’ve had walking pneumonia for the last two weeks.  I’m still not well, but ok enough to do some decaling.  Here’s what I have so far.  Just a quick note, I made my own stencils for the red and white at the tail end of the Gustav”.  First time I ever done this, I was afraid that it would turn pink!  lol!

Finished my 1/72 FW190 F-8 last night. had to cast a couple of replacement outer wing bomb pylons out of epoxy, cuz of course the carpet monster ate them.     I'll get a better picture taken for the front page later this week.

Just in for a quick update. Finally finished the pit for my Eduard 190 A-5. I made a cushion out of millput and added some HGW seatbelts. As others have said they were a exercise in patience for sure but I'm pretty happy with how they came out. Better then PE for this scale (1/48)?...not too sure. I had a pretty good system for assemblying them by the end but still took me awhile. I do like the way they look and maybe the next set will go together easier. Anyway, here is a quick picture...

Thanks Bish. Yeah, I figured I'd give them a try for 1/48th. I have a set of RB production belts for Revell's 1/32 Fw190 F-8 that I'm really looking forward to using. These small belts made for good practice on putting them together. 

BD, great work on the 109, you did a good job on that vent.

Nice looking pit Andy. I like the cushion and you did a good job with those belts. I think 32nd is as far as my patience will go with those.

this was the last thing i did lastnight the vent on the cowl was a solid piece of plastic. so what i did was drill a small hole in the end then started with a 3 sided file then moved to a round rat tail. i was thinking i should do more but stoped before i did some damage. but its not bad. better than a solid chunk of plastic 2018-03-15_07-39-30 by Jerry Richards, on Flickr block.

also had to fix a few of my mistakes and fill in a few round panels that was not on the 109-B1 seems the kit was made to cover from 109A  through to the 109D models so im trying to get it closer to the B1.

Like you said, practice does make perfect. And it really is fun to try something new. You’re well on your way to making fantastic rivets! 

howdy all im finnaly back at my desk. i took a job that grew into a large job. but thats done with. ok so i tryed somthing diffurent last night and that is riveting. its not as easy as youtube makes it look. atleast not for me. i tryed a metal ruller to stiff so i tryed dynamo tape works pretty good. but i still wonderd of from my strait lines and over itams such as my radio door on the side of my fuselage109d rivits by Jerry Richards, on Flickr

im useing the trumpeter riveter and the design makes it hard to see the wheel on the suface. so if any one has a idea of what to use as better toolor a guide i can use the help. my next item i plan on useing as a guide is a piece of plastistuck or evergreen plastic ? i know practice makes perfect and i need to practice. but i did have fun trying it out.
