Thanks 68GT. Good advice.
I long to live in a world where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned
Going to dig this one out again. I just have to figure out where I put it.
68GT Of coarse I ran out of Tamiya fine white primer and the Hobby Lobby by me still hasn't replenished their stock of it. Been 3 weeks now. I/m just going to shoot the rest whit regular Tamiya gloss white.

On Ed's bench, ???
So, it's been a few months since there were any posts in here. I'm just wondering if anyone has had some bench time with a shelf queen. I myself have been busy with other things since life keeps rearing its ugly head to me. I unfortunately haven't had any bench time at all in a while.
At this point my current builds could qualify as shelf queens!
Hey 68GT... Nothing I signed up for on this GB unfortunately. I fished the F-16 obviously. The F-4J is in limbo for some reason, although I did pick it up yesterday to try and figure out where I was on the build. I have sever other hangar queens I have been working on lately. I have debated whether or not to add them to this build -- problem is for me, these never ending GB's don't seem to motivate me. I need a deadline to get motivated sometimes..even though I seldom finish on time, it gives me something to shoot for!
Happy Modeling.

On the Bench: Too Much
Hi fellas. My project went on hold because of a couple of significant issues to do with clear parts and the pressure of other builds, but!!!! Hopefully I'll have some photos to share next week as I have made a couple of brakethroughs.
The idea was to be low pressure since these are shelf squaters anyway. The only pressue is to get it done by the end of the year to get the badge for that year.
No pressure at all mate. But now that I've got the 247 out of the shadows, I've fallen in love with it all over again and I need some progress. Thanks for this GB mate. It has proved stimulating for me and once the 247 is complete, there are a few more waiting......
Hi 68GT, yer I think I have the clear parts issue solved. Ok, so I'm happy with the primer coat and it's time to replace some lost detail and then a top coat.
Looks like real beauty! I'm looking forward to seeing more.
