I agree with Bill.
I'm not much on the salt traetment myself, never worked for me. For my hulls, when I do actually build a ship on a stand instead of a seascape, I'll use an airbrush, oils, and drybrushing to get the effect I want. Unless it's just out of the yard it'll have a skum line, barnicals, and other nasties attacing themselves to the "anitfouling" paint and boot top.
I like your boot top and the fading, almost scraping on the bow (saltwater is a hell-of-an abrasive), but would go darker overall.
