Hey, Steve!  I know the USS Gato may not be the best looking sub done, but could you at least put a "Completed" beside my name?   I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm so sorry Gary, I got you up. Nice kit, I built it a few years back. I could never understand the half ased interior they give.

Thanks, Steve!  I left most of the interior out and just put the pressure hull in.  I still don't know if they actually intended to put more in or not.  Guess they realized that without a clear, plastic outer section the effort to put more detail in was wasted.

I noticed Goldhammer (Art Waugh) is still listed on the roster, and while I know he passed away not long ago, as one of his planned builds was a 1/72nd USS Gato, perhaps a fitting tribute would be to post "On Eternal Patrol" beside his name.

It's just a suggestion.  Feel free to ignore it if you think it is a disservice.

Tha's a fantastic idea Gary. I didn't have the heart to remove him. I have his Gato that I'll complete in his honor.
