Mike,

You have to use a third party photo hosting site. Photobucket was the recomended hosting site because it was easy to use and even better, free. A year or so ago, they went off their rocker and decided that if you wanted to post from your account to forums such as this, it was going to run you several hundred dollars a year. Needless to say, we don't use it anymore. I use Fotki, costs about 20.00 USD a year for 130 GB of space. It's also pretty easy to use with forums now as long as I'm at a desktop. For some reason, I can't post pics to the forum from my phone (may be an id10t error). Others have their favorites and hopefully will chime in.

ajd3530,

Have added you to the list. Welcome to the madness!Welcome Sign

Image previewWhat's the best/easiest way to attach pictures to this thread? These are the options my son and I are considering for this GB. Also, I have a request if anyone is able to assist.  My son is interested in building one of the Japanese planes, but the decals are definitely old and I'm wondering if they will be useable. Would anyone have any Japanese marking in 1/48 they would be willing to part with? Thanks in advamce, Mike

Tony,

Welcome back and glad to have you aboard! I've got you added to the roster.

Scottrc,

I've added the D-VII. Don't think we've had a WWI plane built for this.

Hi Buddy,

This is my first GB in quite a while. I'm glad to be back and this is always my favourite. I'll start with a Hobby Boss 1/72 Me 163B Komet, finished as Spate's Red Komet. (I bought the paint today). I'm really looking forward to it.

Cheers

Tony

I'm just taking it one GB at a time.

Wish I could say without a doubt that I have something for this.  I cant and I'll have to look around for something.

On Ed's bench, ???

Ernest,

Welcome aboard! The ship's roster is updated.  Has it really been a year since you've built a model?

Thanks for adding me to the roster Lew!

Actually I've completed 4 models this year, all AC.  Just built for myself, not for the forums.  Didn't even take photos...I should probably update my signature!

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

That's why Eduard created canopy masks. I'm betting Steve will have a couple on hand. I know I will if I build an airplane.

Welcome aboard Modelcrazy, mawright20, GermanArmour, freem, and Scottrc. Steve, I'm a little disappointed in you for getting our hopes up with the Akagi and then taking the easy way out with the Zero.Whistling

Awe shucks Steve, do the Akagi, its such a well designed kit it practially builds its self, you can do it!

With all the PE and additions I have for it, it'll take me around 1000 hours to complete it.

I was even crazy enough to get the Jack Stays set.

I can't pass up a WE GB.  It seems my best models come from these.  I don't know what to build yet and will look through the stash this weekend.
