Would you put me down as TBD? I know it'll be in 1/35, just haven't decided what yet.
I have made my decision on my project, a 1/35 Tamiya M40. I also splurged on their upgrade set for the metal barrel.
I started the AFV Club version some years back, with disastrous results following a hobby table collapse, hopefully it goes better with the 2nd attempt.

Hello, bufflehead; and welcome to the GB!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” - John 3:16-17

Ok, sure thing! I do think A-26s were used in Korea, but maybe not the K variant...
Hehe, we would of gone along building and your model would have been ahead of the time quite literally!
John, I don't know what I was thinking, the B-26K came along after Korea, it was a Viet Nam combatant. Please change me to the Tamiya F-84G, 1/48.
John

Hey John, I think I might be up for this! I've built very few models from that timeframe, but have quite a few in the stash. Sign me up for at least a Dragon1/35 M26A-1 Pershing tank to start off with:
Ernest
Last Armor Build - 1/35 Dragon M-26A1, 1/35 Emhar Mk.IV Female
Last Aircraft Builds - Hobby Boss 1/72 F4F Wildcat & FW-190A8
Nice, Ziggy!
I like getting 1/48 aircraft kits and 1/35 armor kits personally; but I do have a 1/72 Airfix Tomahawk which I haven’t built yet.
Ziggy, that sounds pretty interesting. I build exclusively 1/72 in aircraft, and armor, but I have always stuck with 1/24 and 1/25 in autos. Which I haven't finished one in years. I'm looking forward to your upcoming diorama.
So far, all I've done on my AD-4W is paint the engine and propeller while painting the ones for my An-2 in the Vietnam GB. I really want to build a USMC machine, so I'm hoping the aftermarket comes through. Otherwise, I will be piecing together the markings. I got some time before I have to worry about it though.
Greg
- yat yas!
Hey Greg,
I like everything 1/72 scale, armor, automobiles and aircraft. I plan to do a diorama with my two tanks in front of a building marked 'Military Museum' or 'Korean War Museum', complete with people and cars in the parking lot.
your shipmate,
Ziggy
Ziggy, that looks good. I am a fan of 1/72 armor.
Your tank sure has the extras, Sigep!
wolfhammer1 - Go towards the bottom of the page to the section (box) above the “Search Forums” box. Then click “Settings”. There is an area for your Signature in which you can add writing and/or insert a picture just as you would in a regular forum post. If you have multiple pictures to insert (either now or eventually, after you collect multiple GB badges), you can insert a GIF instead of individual pictures to conserve space in your signature.
Newby here, how does one get the badge added to your posts?
Thanks, John
Could not post photos earlier due to system update.
WOW! I got the 1/72 M24 Chaffee in the mail yesterday. I ordered the Mamoth Edition and all I can say is wow! I hope I can build it in a reasonable amount of time, looks like a thousand parts, brass barrel, photo etch, resin wheels and decals. The box is huge!
Will post photos soon.
jeaton01 - A B-26 will be a great addition! I’ve updated the roster.
lewbud - So only the fuselage is TBD, eh? Welcome to the GB!
I'm in. Put me down for something in 1/72 with wings. Most likely in overall glossy sea blue.
Buddy- Those who say there are no stupid questions have never worked in customer service.
I decided on the 1/72 Italeri B-26K, and I'll add the Quickboost engine set and also a resin tail correction set from Whirleybirds.
Roger that and welcome, German Armour!
Sign Me up sir!
Just have to find something in the stash.
Never give up, never quit, never stop modelling.
Sure thing and Welcome!
Underneath the GB badges, there’s a link to a webpage where you can maybe pick up some ideas; or you could go really out of the box and build a ship that participated in the Korean War.
I'm just taking it one GB at a time.
Welcome to the GB, Glamdring!
Thx, tempest!
John 3:16 KJVAlright, you’re on the roster. :) What scale is it?
KJV,
I made a boo boo, the Bell 47D is 1/35 not 1/48
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.
