Dang Steve that F35 is a very intence build but you seem to be making good progress.

As for my Allo, I got the painting done on it, no I need to scratchbuild the 20mm gun for it, the F15 has its camo on and now need to spray on the clearcoat.

Thanks guys.

I finally got all the guts stuffed in and attached the lower half of the nose.

I am going to add some intrest to the weapos bay and wheel wells.

OK, maybe not that much

Steve

I had to redo the metal, but I think it came out well.

Top camo was my own mix, think it is close enough.

Alright, since I've wisely decided that there is NO WAY I can cram another NEW build into my already overloaded schedule, I'm just going to do a crossover, with my same build I'm doing in the British army GB, my second LRDG truck. Just got started the other night, I'll post some pics in a bit...

I've been working on my P-47 and taking pictures with my phone, once I figure out how I can upload pictures (I haven't posted pictures since photobucket started making you pay?), I will upload them.

Everyones builds are coming out sharp.

Mach- I'm on my second build too.

My slow progress on my trawler. Got the lower and upper parts of my hull painted. Next is the deck.

There’s a lot of great work in this group build. I’ve been having pretty bad insomnia for the past couple weeks and haven’t had a lot of energy to work on my build. I worked on the T-55 on and off for forty minutes at a time the eight or so days. Been trying to document my work but I usually get caught up in what I’m doing.
Here’s my build a nice simple Tamiya kit.
This is going to be the Russian verison of the T-55A with AA machine gun on the turret. There are also options to build another Russian variant without the AA gun, Polish and Czech.

The aftermarket I picked up for the kit.

The upper and lower hull went together without any fuss at all.

The photoetch engine deck screens were too big so I ended up using the kit supplied mesh not ideal but it will work.

Here it is the the turret.
Like I said I’m horrible about not taking in progress photos. I’ll try to be a little better going forward. Tomorrow I’m planning to prime the model and start painting. Really don’t have much to say about the kit as it’s a typical Tamiya kit everything goes together without fuss.

The thread would judst not be complete without "NCC 1701" .....punch it!

I have also had very little building energy for plastics the pst few days, I wanted to spry the gloss cler over the F15 conforml tanks this morning but it just would bead up  and not flow atall so I am calling this week a loss, will start again next week.

I ike that T55, loads of potential to play arround with some weathering and such, wish I hadan armor kit to build

I hope you guys get your modeling *** back soon. I've been there myself.

The refit Enterprise is a snap kit, I'll be using glue. It has a good amount of parts.

The saucer is very well made! But the grid lines are WAY to big! They would be feet wide on a ship this size.

The instructions are huge for such a small ship!

The decals are amazing. 3 full sheets, this will be an exercise in decaling. All of the aztecing are on the decals, as is most of the detailing. I hope I have enough Micro Sol and Set!

The primary hull is glued. The fit seems very nice.

Theuns,

I'd like to join up if I can.  Put me down for a Tamiya P-51D.

Steve,

Your F-35 is awesome!

Looking good mach71

My progress today was priming the T-55. Primer didn’t show anything that needed some extra attention. Next step will be the black and white pre shading.

I feel ya!  Since I finished my builds for this group build, I started in on my Hasegawa 1/72 AV8B Harrier for the VTOL group build.  I have been suddenly reminded of one of the reasons I like the old timey stuff....there is just WAY too many pieces to add to these modrer aircraft!  lol

I've gotten it into primer, and decided to let it sid for a bit, and started in on the Jeep and US Infantry in 1/48th to go along with my D-Day Osprey build.

One other thing I started, was painting rocks.  My town has this little facebook page where people are painting rocks and 'hiding' them all over town for others to find.  So during our virtual cubscout camping trip this past weekend, we each picked up a rock from a defunct flowerbed (I know, I know...leave only footprints and take only photographs/ memories...)and brought them home to paint and share with the community!

Nice looking rocks Justin, cool idea.

Thanks Buddy.

Here is an update. I added some gizmos and wiring in the weapons bay. I'm OK with it, especially since it's just going to sit on the shelf after completion. I'll work some more on the other bay as well as the wheel wells. I'll paint some brackets and such when everythings completed.

I'm very impressed with the engineering R2 put into this Enterprise kit. For the most part the fit is Tamiya like, and this is a snap kit!

I glued the pylons the other day.

Today I sanded the pylon and saucer seams. Then mounted the pylons. Its a really nice system.

Next up is the neck and the nacelles.

Then its just putting the big parts together.

I'll check the seams tomorrow and if things look good I can get some primer on her.

Great looking builds, one and all.  just spent several minutes scrolling thru all the pages, some cool subjects!

I have started on one of the two 1/144 Spitfires so here are the pictures.  These are ridiculously small (as is to be expected) but still fairly well detailed.

Just realized that I dont have a picture of where it is currently, which is fuselage together, wings on and prepairing to mask the cockpit glass.

Here is the package art for the P-51 as well.  I am also building the Fw-190D-9 kits at the same time.
