Thanks Crown.
Looking good Gamera.
Kind of quiet in this GB but works out for me since I was busy with house things so back on the saddle with this GB. will post progress shots soon.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
Thanks PJ. Sorry not much to show. I've been concentrating on the P-38 with what little modeling I've gotten done. It's so hot I haven't really been in the mood to do much though.
Looking forward to seeing what you post!

Now if we could just find Bish, I hope he is OK.

Sure hope so as well John. For a guy who posts as often as bish, a dry spell this long is indeed concerning...
On the Bench: Too Much
Yeah, it's been awhile now- too long. It does make me worried.
Was thinking about the same thing. It’s odd for him not to post. The PM feature here still doesn’t work but maybe using an older pm to reply to him now will work. I sent him a pm from an older one from 3 years ago and looked like it went thru now.
Hello guys. Any news from Bish?
I tried to contact him by making a small paypal payment a week ago, and have not has a response. I have used PayPal with Martin in the past. I do hope he is OK.
Any news on Bish?
I havnt touched a thing on the bench in a while so I figured maybe I should start fresh. I started the Ju188 yesterday. All though it's not much to look at it's a start and it is some bench time.
On Ed's bench, ???
68GT: Looks good!!!
Still haven't gotten much done on mine, still trying to push forward on the P-38.
Assuming this is still active, I dug out the Stuka to see what is in store. If this is anything likje the Academy 1/72 kits I built in the past, it should be a fast builder:

Robert: The Ju-87 looks cool!
Had a decent weekend with the Stuka:
I will hopefully finish it up over the next week or so.
Robert: She's looking good!!!
Thanks much, Gam.
Some updates from the weekend, all parts are attached, other than the canopy, antennae, and MG. Next up is the paint.
The camo on this variant requires hard edged geometric shapes, I am debating on some precut masks, or trying to scale up the instruction sheet on my scanner and cutting my own...the age old issue of time versus cost.
She's lookin' good Robert!
I like scaling up the instruction sheet and then cutting out the camo outlines and using them as templates to cut tape in the right shapes. Of course they make precut masks it saves you a lot of time and effort even if they cost more.
Looks great with those 37mm guns!
Thanks,
Thanks John!
I got to thinking over the weekend why waste time and money on single use masks of futzing around with the scanner and printer for a small scale kit? Just free hand it!
The canopy will be a tad more difficult though...
Camo looks great- nice work!!!
Looks great Robert!
Mighty fine job done on the camo Robert, looks spot on.
On these type of schemes I use masking tape to copy the patten on the model. The masks that I will use are the canopy ones that save TONS of work and time. I have learned from experience to stay away from the vinyl ones due to poor adhesion on curves.
Robert I love the masking and the look of the colours. Excellent! Last time I built this I spent 5 night modelling shifts masking the canopy. It was interesting...
I got a little more done on mine. Photos when I have something worth showing.
Thanks guys!
The Stuka has been decaled up:
Next up, clear coat and the clear parts.
Looks great Robert- so close to done!!!
After a lot of procrastinating I have some 188 progress to show.
68GT: She's looking great man!!!
I havnt made the progress I wished to do since I'm still working on the house renovation. Its me, myself and I working on the house.
Anyways I have a wing painted but I have to figure what I'm going to do with the hole left from the deleted forward gun. The wing is painted in the 70/71 as is must have been replaced from another aircraft.
Looking good 68gt, let me know how those eduard masks work out. I have the same kit and would not mind building it one day soon.
Thanks, the fit is pretty much as expected and fits well. Your on your own if you want toi mask the turet and the center dome on the nose though. They tell you to use a liquid mask. The instructions are clear though and couldnt imagine doing this greenhouse canopy in the scale any other way.
