Japanese Group Build XI

Rules

*Start Date January 1, 2022

*End Date December 31, 2022

*Japanese subjects which I'll define as operating under the Japanese flag, aka a captured P-40 flown by a Japanese pilot would be kosher

*Cross-overs are welcome

*Pre-started are fine as long as they're under 10-20% finished (light assemby)

*Any 'roll-over' subjects from JGB X are welcome

* No cut-off date for entry, you can enter on Dec 30 if you can build the model in a day

And most important have fun guys and gals!

I was wondering if you were going to put up an 11 but I didn't want to bother you.

Yep, I'm in of course

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Thanks Steve, wouldn't be the same without you.

And everyone please ignore the other post over on the figure forum. Last update the quick navigate bar at the top no longer works for me. So I have to open new tabs to reply to stuff. Apparently I opened the new post for JGB XI in the wrong tab.

Hopefully the mods can delete the whole mess.

Interested, subject yet to be decided upon.

Is your friend Rock and I continuing the tradition of the GB badge?

regards,

Jack

Thanks guys for the support!

Ferg: I think this is the first for you. This is a pretty informal GB, I just want people to get stuff out of the stash and build it.

Jack: That's the plan. I contacted Rock yesterday but he hasn't gotten back with me yet.

I'm not even sure what to do as a badge. When I think of Japan I think of samurai, geisha, Godzilla, and cherry blossums. We've done all of those. Jeaton had some really good ideas last year but I'd already gotten the badges underweigh so I couldn't use any of them. I probably should go back and look at them again. Anyone else have any ideas?

I'd be interested if there's room.  I have a Hasegawa Grace on the shelf that's been mocking me for some time.

Cliff, it looks like I will carry over my Tamiya Dinah from the X GB, it's still in the box.  I will do better this time.

I managed to 'finish' the Raiden (waiting on replacement hinomarus after my decaling blunder).  But the Zero will have to bleed over to next year, so I'm in.

Thanks,

John

Hi Cliff,

Put me down for a Hasegawa 1/72 FW 190 in Japanese markings. It could well end up changing to a Rex, or a Seiran though, or even a J8M1 Komet thingo. Or some, or all of the above. lol.

Cheers

Tony

I'm just taking it one GB at a time.
