Thanks for the comments, guys !

John - the forward panel line, that runs parallel to the leading edge of each horizontal stabilizer, is molded as a raised line for some reason unknown to me. I scribed it so that the wash is consistent.

I got the paint on the Apache today. The shheme (O.D. over Neutral Gray) is kinda boring for me, but the decals will make up for that. The O. D. is Model Master enamel, and the N. G. is Color of Eagles acrylic.
The spinner, exhausts, and gear are dryfitted. The gear keeps the belly off the paper (I don't like repainting).

I boxed in the ends of the flaps & ailerons. I also added the part of the flap that is exposed when its dropped. After thinning out the edges of the parts, its not too difficult to lower the flaps on this kit.

QUOTE: For those that haven't built this kit, there is an oddity in the molding. The panel lines are recessed, with the exception of the tops of the horizontal stabilizers. I rescribed mine.

Today was a very productive day for me. I got the airframe assembled, and the seams cleaned. Tomorrow, I'll attach the masked canopy and paint the camo. This is turning into one of my quickest builds.

Hey EasyCo, way to go. The antennae looks much better now. Didn't want to be critical, but thought it a shame to mar such a very nice build with a droopy antennae. Glad you could fix it !

Pix,

You're almost done with your A-36 and mine hasn't even been delivered yet! Maybe the more time that passes between when you finish and when I finish, the better off I will be. People might forget how good your Apache is. Your work is really an inspiration to show what can be done with this kit.

EasyCo,

That is a super Stormovik. The weathering effects are subtle and very realistic.

Hi T-34,
YOUR IN! If you want it. If not ... If you dont have the camera it doesnt matter.

I used Model Master Acrylics for the Dark earth & Russian Armor Green. And I used Pollyscale USSR Underside Blue. I used RLM62(Pollyscale) its called just plain old green but it not it look like Dark-grey+Green for the cockpit.

For the bottom side of the Stormovik. What color do you use. I need an acrilic color. In enamel colors it is called russian underside blue, does anybody know what color it is in acrilics and who makes it.
Thanks

Thanks everyone.

rjkplasticmod- The antannea wire......OH BOY...Sad [:(] Do I know that. I used a fishing line. I think it is a 4lb. ........I think. I can't get it taught. I was at least 2+ hours and know joy!Dead [xx(] Maybe I need 2lb fishing line?

Woodbeck- RLM62 Pollyscale paint. It looks like dark-gray with a little green. The RLM62 it says are green, thats what pollyscale said..

Very nice build EasyCo and a great paint job. My only suggestion would be to get the antennae wire more taught. In the pic, it seems to be sagging a wee bit.

You guys are fast ! I probably won't be able to even start my build until late July. Glad wev'e got a lot of time for this GB.
