havent started it yet, its main part is figures, so i was going to test paint some figures before i started a kit thats mainly figures
weird thing about it is, theres no directions sheet, theres directions on the back of the box, but it gets kinda jumbled together

I bet that they will be nice, Dml figs are. You'll understand the directions on the back after a little studying them, They are most likely separated by boxes. the there will be numbers and letters like (a-4 ) and the lin might got to the arm or torso...

Well, I finally have another progress report for you guys. (I had a 1215 dismissal today cuz of parent-teacher conferences!Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup], so I grabbed the opportunity to make progress)

I assembled the top and bottom fuselage halves on the rafale, painted and washed the landing gear bays, did a little sanding around the visible seams, installed the tail fin, and put on the wings!! A whole afternoon well-spent! (at least in my opinion)Big Smile [:D]Approve [^]

I finally found the Leading Edge CF-18 standard markings sheet in 48th on FlightDecs website, so without delay I ordered one. It should be here next week. Can't wait!! Yeah!! [yeah]
Now I just have to decide on a camoflage..

ps. I would post pics of my progress, but my dad sold his digital cam, so until he buys a new one, I won't have pics. Sorry guys.

Not fair!!!! The only day that we get out of school early is the last day!

About the cam, I know how you feel. My sister took it to her house (shes in collage) and keeps forgeting to bring it back!
Not sure if I have infored anybody but I am nearly done with my next build. It just needs a coat of paint and some weathering.

Yea school does suck
(this has a point)
my classes:
Honors World History 1; Honors World History 2; Honors German 2; Honors Earth Science; Honors Geometry; Concert Orchestra; Health/PE 9; and Honors English 9
I have an A in all classes (except maybe geometry and world 1) but I have CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC in English because she didnt like my essays intro and concluding paragraphs! (she said they werent there, but they were just blended into the next paragraph)
So i got a 72 on my paper with a 83 my overall grade! Angry [:(!] i have a 4.1 GPA still, but i hate english
wow, long post
Havent got anything done yet because of my new found attraction to Desert Combat

And your complaining?!!i get around 70s, but i put very little effort in schoolDisapprove [V] i have all my hard subjects in the morning when i am tired, then in the afternoon i have all easy courses that require no thinking.

by Desert Combat do you mean bf1942? cause we got a bf1942 clan here on fsm, but it seems to have died down.

and i'm with DOUBLE D, all free hand for meBig Smile [:D]

I only use my airbrush to paint the exterior/camouflage. For cockpits and interiors I just use brush painting.

BTW, what kind of airbrush do you have, Rebelreenactor? I have a Badger 350 single action, which I got for cheap at Michaels. Works great.

my english teacher last year told us that she deducted one point from this other kid's grade- he had a perfect paper- except that he misplaced a comma. yep, ONE COMMA! that's anal my friend. in any case, im tired. science test tommorrow, should be studying. not cool. again, this sucks.....
what do you guys think about green day the band? just wonderin, heard'um a couple times 2day on the radio.
BTW- "My fellow AM-AIR-E-CANS, now that I have been re-elicted, we can now complete the final phases of my plan...." yeah yeah off-topic. DOUBLE D spoke for the bush side, just wanted to keep it balanced here....
back to modeling!

Ok, stop complaining about grades. On thing you all haven't learned is that grades and women don't go with modeling. Not an single word shall be spoken about grade or women in a modeing contextTongue [:P]. By the way I'm 15 and can i still join. Gonna do a FAMO with aber, friul, scratch, and some resin cargo and a tarp. Also, do any of you guys enter shows? I do, but just a question.

And gringe, in my school, the best college prep school in west TN, they give you an F for a misplaced comma, or any other simple grammar.

Hey, welcome to the build! I've only entered one show, which was like a month ago, and I won best of show in the junior category (1/72 u-boat). But I think that was kind of cheapConfused [%-)](most juniors were kids much younger than me, and I'm sixteen, the oldest age for the juniors category at my show). I mean, I can't even begin to think about winning any awards when I compete against the 'OLD GUNS' next year. [I HATE TO ADMIT IT, BUT THEY ARE GOOD!!] LOL.Big Smile [:D]
