I've already found a walk around of the Mojor's plane but i want more close up of the cockpit and gun placment and landing gear bay

Cruzr-good choice. I built the night fighter version last year. One tip-plan on adding weight to the nose, engines or fuel tanks. I ended up using folded lead sheets in the engine.

Folk's,

A little more progress on the A20g Boston/Havoc. 'Green Hornet'

The construction stage so far in this build.

The conopy roof hatch, which I had drilled the holes into, all so showing the resin raft to be fitted above and behind the pilot seat.

G'day Folk's,

Having painted the neutral grey on the A20g, I got started on this gem it's a Nakajima B6N2 Tenzan or 'Jill'. I've shown what assembly and paintwork I've completed so far, with this kit.

This will be an OOB build with whatever weapons options

Here we go.... My effort at a badge for this GB. It's only my second go at making one so go easy on me. If you like you can use it, but if someone can come up with something better use it. Here it is:

BTW Lobbie, Your builds are looking great. What kit is the A20g? Can't wait to see them finished.

Daniel,

The A20g is the old AMT kit in 48, this kit is now released by Italeri, which has an RAAF 22 Sqn option on the kit decal sheet for DU-C. the raft is an old resin sideline that would enhance the cockpit a little.

Thanks also for the badge, that concept of oposing aircraft looks good

Well i opened the box finally on the P-38. i'm impressed by the detail in the cockpit and gun bay in this Monogram kit. The gear bays and engine intakes need some detail work, but for the most part not bad. i'll start painting and building the cockpit tomorrow. I was on-line getting a few more pics and just checking through the kit tonight.

Sorry, Jeeves, their wasn't enough room for a dauntless.

If the badge meets your approval, you can start using it.

Hey Daniel, hope you don't mind but I took a shot at sprucing up the badge a little bit. Well... I intended to just add a background but I got a little carried away and to make it work I had to change more than just the background. Sorry everyone, there are still no ships or tanks.

Crap... another night shot and no actual model building done. Oh Well, there is always tomorrow!

G'day Folk's,

I've done more to the Nakajima B6N2 Tenzan 'Jill' this is a Hasegawa kit and the following shots show just what the cockpit tub was like.

Notice in the air intake I have fitted a brass mesh screen.

I like your badge razor, it's a bit more interesting than mine. I don't have much image editting software so it's good that you could take it and spruce it up a bit. And I can take some credit for it. I'm gonna stick it in my sig now and see how it looks. good work.

Tankergeoff, you'd be most welcome to join in on this, it's not confined to aircraft only, your anphib jeep would fit in well.

I've just had a bit of a fiddle around with razors badge (hope you don't mind mate) and came up with this:

I think it gives it a faded and weathered look, which to me doesn't look too bad. It also helps the corsair stand out a bit more, it was a bit dark on razors one. It also adds a bit more interest to the badge. Hope you like it.

Pingtang: good idea to fade the background but I would like to fade the background without fading the planes or the text. That way they will really pop out. I'm at work right now but will take a shot when I get home tonight. BTW, how did you achieve that weathered look? Cheers!

Lobbie: Jill is really starting to take shape. Looking good!!
