Joe
Looks real good. Just one question: why are some of the kill markings backwards?
is it the way it was printed or was there some pappy meaning behind it?

Work has been killing me. No modelling what so ever in the last 2 weeks.....bum deal, but great for the wallet.
3d modelling is an option a true mental excercise in frusrtation

Quick progress report. Finally got the cockpit finished. Suffering eye strain from all of the PE. Will post some pics as soon as I take them.

Where the real ones were built. I flew over the Goodyear Airdock the other day. Birthplace of around 3000 ( if I remember right) Corsairs and the F2-G Super Corsair!

Looks good Joe. What kit is that you're building? You'll be finished by the time I buy a kit at this rate. keep up the good work.

Looking good Joe. Golf & gardening have taken their toll on my modeling time for the last couple of days. Hope to finish up the pit by Saturday.

I got mine from Meteor Productions and the sheet is Cutting Edge CED48226. It includes markings for all four of the planes Boyington flew. meteorprod.com

Haven't as yet started on my build but it won't be long now. I'm thinking after the weekend.

Joe, your progress looks great! I hope mine looks as good.

Don't know if you're interested in dealing with E-Bay, but this set has markings for a Boyington plane in it:
