ha, here I am complaining about Californias gun control laws, well, at least I can drive.
I get my license July 7th! I am counting the days. I dont think I can drive from midnight to 5am until I have had my license for 6 months.

I'm in NY.
Also, they are trying to justify me getting air cans insted of a kompressor because I "wont need to use it that often". Maybe if i had a kompressor, i'd use it more often!!!!!!Angry [:(!]Censored [censored]Taped Shut [XX]Censored [censored]Banged Head [banghead]Evil [}:)]Angry [:(!]

i got a sister down in NJ who's married. we go down to see them every couple of months. NEway, theres a hobby store there, and when i went to check out the paint cans they had once, i found out you had to have a liscence to buy them!! that blew my mind until i remembered that i was in new jersey.

My parents were the same way about DVD players, telling me that we don't have any, then I just say... "Maybe because YOU won't buy a DVD player!" oh well...

speakin of cars, anyone watch monster garage? i love that show...
NEway I FINALLY GOT MY KIT!!!!! YES!!!! and a big disappointment.......i cant make an interior cuz the assembly of the turret is wierd cuz it looks like the army men tanks. but ill probably cut the hatches open and put a commander on there....

That would be a sweet car! My favorite classic car would be the GTO. I love them. If I could have any car right now it would be a Red or Black Ford F250 2005 diesel, 9 inch suspension lift and some other goodies. I wanna get my dad's F250 and then I can rais it, its a 200 though. Still not bad at all.
We watched monster garage in my shop class last year. Good show.

i wish we had shop class.....
yeah, if i got a car like that, id add airbags, green tailights, chrome spinners, and then a playstation right after i installed the spinning bed in back, and the .50 cal on the roof.....

never gonna happen my friends. nope, but i would be just as happy with a modified leopard 2. thatd suit me just fine. i cant help it, im a war junkie.

I told my uncle he neede a .50 cal on his hummer.
I am not surprised about the shop class situation gringe. There is one shop called "Ag Ingeneering" for the whole district, but is really nice. I had to take a bus to get there and back to school. The wood shop at my highschool is no longer there, the only thing left is auto. Its sad really. In the future some people wont even be able to work a freekin hammer!

we'll have robots to do the hammering, i really want a shop class at my school,

well 6 lazy hours after getting my kit(s) (also got a hanomag sdkfz 251/1 (reb- i didnt take your advice i bought it, wait, what was wrong with it? (tamiya))
i got the turret half way done, drilled a hole in the barrel (with my hobby knife (too cheap to get a power tool)) drilled out two sink holes, started cutting out the hatch, and then i realized its impossible because its too thick, so now there will be no commander either!! cant have an interior, or commander....this is gonna be too easy, (how can i make this alittle harder??)

actually, i go to a private school, (they deem it a "college prepatory school, which is BS because its exactly the same in regular school) so we don't get a shop class period. still, i learn some stuff by and by.

Same here, gringe. Private schools suck. at least mine does. I can;t do anything. luckily im going public next year.
Speaking of Army men tanks, Double D, I'm practicing at figure painting by painting my WWII army men. One of them came out pretty good, but the other 5 are too glossy. I put mud on them with some brown paint. It's pretty cool. How's that for low-budget modeling.
Another Low budget modeling tip: If you cant get a kit of it, build it out of Legos. I currently have a "scratchbuilt" Lego MiG-25, BTR-80, Mi-24, SA-10 truck, Ural troop transporter, T-80, and BMP-2. I can't have a BMP and T-80 at the same time though couse they share the same chassis. I also have turrets for a T-34 and SU-85 that i can stick on.

Double d, If you want to make the 251 look nice, I would do one of these things, scratchbuild an interior, buy an interior, or cover it with a tarp. I built a basic interior wich wasnt too hard. If you wan totall accuracy though, Go with the update kit.

im too cheap and impatient to buy one, i remember you telling me not to buy this kit; http://squadron.com/ItemDetails.asp?item=TM35020
i was just wonderin why?
i think i see where it would need some fixing up, im gonna wire the gauges and brake lines in the interior, then bullet casings all over the floor, but i was looking over it and saw that the seats are extremely small....then again for the past two months i was working on a really big 1/35 panther...
im gonna wait till my 7tp is finnished b4 i start my 251

ive seen the hanomag yer talkin bout too, tho i dont have one. its a hold over from the old seventies kits tamiya put out. so, its got all the luxuries of a seventies kit- which equals nothing. the figs are simplistic, the details are over simplified and some are lacking completely. also, small details are thick and heavier than they should be. thats why i held off getting a halftrack kit til dragon came out with its latest line up.

LOLBig Smile [:D]

If you want to show interior detail, be prepared for some work, Just about the whole thing is missing, except for the steering wheel and gaugesLaugh [(-D]The seats need to be re-done as they are 99% wrong (hey, at least they have a cushion) I did one on my first 1/35 model, and it was actually easy to get a semi accurate- or more detailed interior.
heres some pics.

besides the interior, it wasnt a bad kit, decent fit with some good decals.
If you want some great ref pics Just let me know.

My bf-109 is almost ready for paint. But it has to wait until I finish up another build. I'll post pics when I have time.
