Stuka, There are some states that dont really care, like North and South dakota, South Carolina (i think) Nevada, Airzona, just to name a few, whereyou can buy anything.

in illinois its illegal to sell them but places still do (the really crappy fireworks) sparklers and noise makers, went all the way to wisconsin to get them. my dad insisted to go there, we didnt have anything else to do. he doesnt care what i do, just as long as i dont get caught, or dont kill myself Big Smile [:D]
didnt get any work done cuz my sis baracaded herself in the basement (where all my stuff is) and blasted backstreet boys... (i thought id kill myself) so i went to my room and (with a more power stereo) blasted RAMMSTEIN! (sergei - ull like this song MOSCOW)

well, i put the two only two decals on, trying to take teh gloss out of it, i dont use future or a flat coat, i just weather it out, for example the area around it is green so i weather the decal every so slightly with white and yellow oxide and i mean VERY slighly, the brush hardly has any paint, just enough to dirty it up and dust it, it looks pretty good.
the odd thing about this kit is that there are stripes to designate the vehicle number that u have to paint on, idk, maybe mirage got lazy and didnt bother to put decals like that. im almost done, now im painting the tracks and i need to figure out how to shorten them cuz they are 3-4 track links too long. i really like how its turning out.
the reason i dont have any pics is cuz im too lazy to change the batteries cuz digi cameras use sooo many batteries!!! i should have some pics up be nxt week.

Ok, How is August 13? That is the next Local IPMS contest and I plan on having my Diorama (A different one) done by then. That will give me something decent to enter into the competition.

Congrats on 500 stuka. Anyway, a couple of you have seen this already but I thought I would post again for those newere ones who haven't. This is my academy MiG-29 1/48 with the Aires resin/PE cockpit detail set and the Eduard PE exterior detail set. Took me about 3.5 months to finish.

BTW, since then I added approximately 10 more PE pieces but it was practically done at this point.
BTW again, it won second place at the regionals as a few of you know, losing out to our very own gringe88.

I'm not a wingy thingy builder for long now reb! My next project is the Ace 1/72 T-90. I love how you can be so heavy handed with armor weathering! Plus it calls for a whole new arsenal of techniques like filters oil washes (though AC guys do that for the oanels.) and how to make things rusty and muddy. Rustall and my Mig pigments will help me through that. Even though it's not part of the build, I'll be posting pics of it as I go along.

P.S. I can't wait to get started on my DML King Tiger...

Treadhead turned wingy thingy guy turned treadhead (soon to turn ship builder oddly enough. Trumpeter USSR frunze has been in my stash far too long.)

Thats pretty cool how you can build everything and still be good at them. I have to focus on one subject to get me to put out something decent. But for some reason, I ALWAYS have a screw up, every model. I hate it. Hopefully my next in line, Opel Blitz will be better off. So, If I tried an aircraft, It would be horrible, I have about 3 of them half finished. Armor/ Dioramas for me, Maybe a helo here and there.
Mig poigments, Id love mig pigments, If I could afford them. But at $6.75 a bottle, I really cant!

The DML KT, A guy on another forum built it, paint weathering, the whole works, in about 30hrs straight!Shock [:O]

Double d, The 251 will need a complete new interior, everything except the dash board must go!
