My parents were the same way about DVD players, telling me that we don't have any, then I just say... "Maybe because YOU won't buy a DVD player!" oh well...

i got a sister down in NJ who's married. we go down to see them every couple of months. NEway, theres a hobby store there, and when i went to check out the paint cans they had once, i found out you had to have a liscence to buy them!! that blew my mind until i remembered that i was in new jersey.

I'm in NY.
Also, they are trying to justify me getting air cans insted of a kompressor because I "wont need to use it that often". Maybe if i had a kompressor, i'd use it more often!!!!!!Angry [:(!]Censored [censored]Taped Shut [XX]Censored [censored]Banged Head [banghead]Evil [}:)]Angry [:(!]

I get my license July 7th! I am counting the days. I dont think I can drive from midnight to 5am until I have had my license for 6 months.

In NY here no license until 17. Segei said he wasn't 16 yet so in some states he's got 2 years to go.

Don't you think I know that!!! UI considered air cans, but i've got only about 100 bucks, so I tried to go to home depot to get me a kompressor but my mom said i should wait for my grandpa to get hiome (he is perpetually in florida except for the times when he's not) cause he knows about kompressors and might have one and he has a home depot card so we waited for him and when he comes back, first he gives me this big paint gun that holds like a quart, and then he said he'd give me his compressor but then he siad it was too big so he'd find me a smaller one and he did exept it runs off of car batteries and so now he wants me to get a can of air like i had planned to a million years ago but now it's cost me so much time and i cant get anything done and i wish i could drive so i could just get the thing myself, so i'll have to wit till i'm 16 until i get an airbrush which isn't that far away but most of these GB will end before i get my license so that frikking sucks and i got a nice pretty badger sittignaround collecting dust along with my kits.

My first compressor was from home depot. I think it was 50 bucks, and it came with a hose. Then all you need to buy is an attachment to the hose that will trap water. No more than 10 bucks. The air cans are gonna cost you over time.

Tisn't hot air, it's called frustration. just move your @$$ to home depot and buy a frikkin compressor.

im sorry if i sounded like some pompous ****** back there, but what was said had to be said, and i thot it was better if it came from a noncombatant.

so, yea lets just let it go there. Smile [:)]Cool [8D]

I see you've got a new Muhammed quote, did he really say those things though? I have a hard time believing that anyone could say something so stupid.

this thing has gone on too long all ready. if NEone posts up more crap about how they feel about politics or goernment, or media, or whatever, I AM GOING TO COMMUNICATE THE PROBLEM TO THE KOMMANDANTS AND ASK THEM TO DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM DIRECTLY. i just dont give a fuck

this is a group build, not a political debate. its a subject thats been banned from the forum NEway.

It is very hard for a country to move into a democracy when they have never had freedom. Many dislike it and want communism back in place. But with time the new generations will become used to democracy and the older generations will eventually die out.

That's true enough, and I support a strong leadership in Russia right now. But did you know that 2 weeks ago, Putin stated that the greatest geo-political disaster of all time was the collapse of the Soviet Union?

QUOTE: Have you not seen pics of Russia, East Germany etc! They were living in some of the worst conditions I have ever seen!

Yeah I have seen pics and it is definitely much worse than living in America. That's not what my statement meant...

But I also know what it's like in modern day Russia- because, well, I've been there. And not much has changed. (Except for billboards. The only thing that's different is the billboards.Dead [xx(]Tongue [:P]) They're nto even living under a proper democracy- Putin's running the place like a dictatorship.

On the modeling front, cockpit detail painting is almost finsihed!! I shall post pics soon.

So I apologize if anyone thought I was insulting America. I would never do that. I only insult our president.

Can we say PATRIOT Act?

No but seriously guys, let's stop arguing... No point in it really. I haven't been getting too much time to build- school is getting in the way as usual. But I might have the cokpit finished up by tonight. The resin cokpit is really nice- well detailed. And with the addition of a few wires and hydraulic lines, it looks even better.

More Bad news. The arrival of my Airbursh Compressor has been delayed once again. Angry [:(!] My Grandpa has my airbush, and has made it his quest to find a compressor that fits it. Unfourtunately, all the Compressors he sees always have a nasty habit of running only off 6V car batteries.Banged Head [banghead]
So, nothing will be happening to my kits for a while. So i guess i'll just have to look for reference pics while I'm waiting. Should i search google for BMP-2? No, that would never work...Whistling [:-^]

This I found by searching googl....ov! Its...uh...a new russian search engine....yeahSign - Dots [#dots]

Tanky's right.I strongly disagree, but I'll just stop arguing now. We can put aside our differences, for we are all comrades-in-arms in the World of plastic modeling. Taped Shut [XX]

Nice Pics, Ygmodeler. Too bad they didn't have too much of what I was looking for.
Sad [:(] More specifically, I was looking for 2 things.
1: pics of the troop compartment interior. you had one of those, which has greatly discouraged me from attempting to scratchbuild an interior.
2: pics of the turret. My decal sheet is confusing me, and I want a clarification on what insignia are on the turret of a soviet BMP-2
