ygmodeler4- Yeah, this project was pretty boring, too, but I was able to make the best of a bad situation.
Speakin' of which, here's a couple pictures of the C-54. It's done up in the scheme of Gail Halvorsen's "Candy Bomber" of the 1948-48 Berlin Airlift.

Here you can really see how bad the finish on this thing really is. I had to use paint from a spray can (not one made for models, either.), and the results are less than stellar. I'll admit it's not my best work. But with Track practice and school and the time crunch I think I had about 10 hours to get this done.

You can't tell, but the two green nose decals are supposed to meet in the front. They didn't, and I don't own any decal setting solution. So, I just left it alone. Like I said, not my best work. (The wire on the nosewheel is to keep the nose down. No need for nose weight that way.)
The actual box/tarmac is done, except for paint, that is. I'll get some completed pics this weekend, tarmac and all. Then I'll turn it in and possibly never get it back.
