my panzer 38 was the same way. the parts would shatter at first for some reason (still dont know why. i think they were biodegrading), and after I attached the PE fenders, I realized just what a bad idea that was to do then....god wut a pain in the arse that was

I hate it when you lose important parts to the rug! it always makes the build that little bit more tedious!

tamiya seems to make there parts the same color as my floor!!!! AHHHHH!!!!
i just quit on some of those models.....like my 1951 belair, i glued and painted the interior and body and the wheels really frustrated me so i have this really annoying blue bel air in my collection... I H8 IT!!!! one day ill get really POed and build it, even if it kills me!!!

hey guys, hoe would I sand a really tight space that my snading equipment won't fit through?
here's the pic

the further side of the mismatch is around 2mm higher than the near one

Try a nail file. (emory board is small too) They are small, long and great sanders.

Try rapping some sand paper around a dowel or piece of styrene which can fit inside the space , I do all the time and it works great!

I just recieved my kit from Greatmodels today (yay) so construction will start pretty much straight away so kip an eye out for some progress pics as I build it!

looking foreward to them stuka!
on the sanding, If a nail file wont fit, just cut it with some scissors so it will fit.

when i said "my sanding equipment", it included a nailfile/ emery board. It wasn't thick enough to fit in between.
sorry, I wasn't specific enough...

Right progress
I've studied the kit all last night , making notes on everything that needs doing to the kit !
the major thing is going to be constructing a new cockpit which barely exists in the kit so that will take a while but I've got some good referance which will help me out a bit .
I've also drawn up some plans for a possible diorama for the kit , which will be reasonably something simple.

So thats my current progress with the kit , and I'll pst some pics when I get started on the cockpit !

Unfortunately, I still have not started on my kit. It's next on the line up though. Just have to finish up 2 other kits. Even though they're not in the GB I'll post pics so you guys can see what I have been up to.

Cool rebel. On Wednesday me and my dad went fishing and played hookie. The funny part is we went to Gander Mountain and looked at some shirts and one said,"I didn't go to work today because the voices told me to go fishing." I wanted to get it but my dad said no.

i hate u soo much right now manDisapprove [V]Wink [;)] its fluctuating around 40-50 here, cold, wet, rainy/windy/haily/snowy/frogs rainging down from sky, or whatever else god's got planned for us, cuz he might as well through down the kitchen sink while hes at it.

theres a saying bout the region (ok the city) where i live. "If you don't like the weather, wait 20 minutes." Today during my track meet, it went from 50- to 40-, windy, with sprinklings of hail/rain and bright sunshine.

hmmmm, Must be on the east coast. The weather over there is so wierd! In the summer on the east coast, you guys can expect rain right? Well when it rains in the summer here, its a very wierd feeling, Im not used to that. Usually we wont have any more rain from about April to October. You know, I dont think I can even imagine what its like to wear warm clothes in May, It was hot today, 80's, but in June We'll be glad when its in the 80's (gets up to 105 degrees hear)

anyways, I never knew I could talk about the weather like thatWink [;)], this is off topic fo sure. My friend came to school today in cruches. Asked him what he did- Said he indode (sp) ( an indo is when you land on your front tire) and over jumped the landing on his dirt bike. Fractured his ankle and tore some ligiments. It was his first time going on the jump since it was modified and he didnt take the time to practice it, so now we laugh at him for being dumb.
On the modeling subject, I am ready to put a coat of future on and then a wash.

Hmph. Us east coast typs don't get the best of the weather. It's pretty damn sucky around here in NY. I think gringe lives in NY too, but upstate near Buffalo. Am I right?

yea, u got it tankmaster. ive tried to keep my exact local from public view, mostly for safety. we got some weird people round here. like BlackWolf and ButtzAlien [alien]Tongue [:P]Wink [;)]

got to be about 60-70 up this way. FINALLY!!! BTW-reb, u can just shut up about your sunny hot beautiful days just whenever u feel like it, really, go on as long to your little california heart's content.......Dead [xx(]Taped Shut [XX]Taped Shut [XX]Sigh [sigh]

ygmodeler- i got some relatives down in viginy, live out by norfolk (retired naval officer) NEways, his wife says that they have cold weather all thru winter, then in april-May, they have to turn the A/C on cuz it changes so fast.

Just as am writing this, The national weather service has issued a Flash flood warning for my area, I want some sandbags!

hey gringe, I can see the east coast stereo type of california, Most of all the steryotypes you hear about Cali are probably true, until you get to the Central valley, Its like a different country hear. Mudslides, no hills, and the foot hills near me ar covered in Vegitation. Earthquakes, Dont get them in the central valley. We havent felt one since 1989 when the big one in San Fran took place.

Southern California is a different situation, I used to live there and it is basically your description.
So I'll keep going on with my good weather, Big Smile [:D]
