Ahhh vacation... I've heard of that... sometimes! Hope you enjoyed it! Going on one in Sept myself, will be shortened - have to keep some days in hand for next year when the stork will pass, if all goes well.

Still not sure what exactly will be on my bench by November, but will keep you posted... Something with 4 wheels that travels fast! Wink [;)]

Well, people, I was going to build that Gans for this group build, but came to find out that the company that makes these "Nitto" will not be making anymore kits so I might just have to save this for a rainy day or if I get hard up I`ll sell it! I dunno, I`ll let you all know soon what Im gonna do for this build.

::snort:: sorry I must have dozed off... put me in for this one... that is if I can build it in conjunction with another GB... that's the only way I think I can carry one through for this...

Will let you know later, something related to the Battle for Germany... maybe even the dreaded 1/72 S-100 Schnellboot calling my name to be done, but will surely take months to finish...

Here is my kit Tankergeoff. An old kit for the Old Guns GB. Hasegawa 1/72 Tiger 1E (early). It's not really that old but still the box is musty, decals and instructions are yellowed, and it's the old style box. Cool [8D]

hmm I should have saved that P-26A from Hasegawa for this one.... got it off Ebay, it was a 1970's mold.. It was in the same condition, yellowed box, decals yellowed etc. Better yet would have been the late 60's mold of the OS2U I had... it had the "Yellow Submarine" decals and chrome exhausts that looked like they came off a Peterbilt in case I wanted to 'mod it" Definitely a flower power build.

I'm in just still deciding on what to do, it might be one of my simpler Academy 1/72 kits to save time. Around November is when a couple of GB's I am in will be starting up..

I'm still here (and apparently, I'm still old), so I guess I'm still in Big Smile [:D] I am going to switch my choice of kit from the Churchill to my new AFV M3A3 Stuart, since the Churchill is going to be the subject of the Novice Builders GB starting shortly.

My doctor just called me this afternoon and told me my biannual stress test has been postponed for 3 weeks. Fed DOT won't renew my physical until I get that test done.

I'll have to have the wife warm up the hot pad to put on my arthritic knee. Let me think for a minute, wern't we supposed to be talking about a group build or was that "well built" as in 36-26-38?

I'm still here as well. Based on this weekend's attempt to use my airbrush on a Sturer Emil,. it's probably a good thing that my eyesight is going. I'm still looking to do the Stuart for this build when it starts.

Still here, back from holiday!

My airbrush, though, has sadly now finally given up the ghost...

What kind of airbrush do you use? And do you use Enamels or Acrylic?
I've got an Iwata HP-A and C. I get more use out of the C though. I have
a problem airbrushing the enamels because of the ventilation issues.

Well done, Joe! I wanted to "up" it a bit too, but could not find the GB entry! Must be the eyes... Wink [;)]

TankerGeoff, I have not yet finalised my "entry" yet. I will be doing a S27 Renault R25 F1 for the F1 GB, but will also be starting a new bike shortly. It will most likely be a rather unorthodox "tribute to Rossi" Repsol Honda RC211V. So either that or a Subaru WRC (2004). I will be working on both soon, so if you want to choose for me, feel free. Otherwise the Subaru might also be "disqualified" anyways, since I actually started on it and put it away before completing step 1!

Anyways, I will be working on all three shortly, if there's a preference as to what you'd like to be included as part of this GB, I've got no probs...

I'm still here. Did I join this already?, I can't quite remember. I vaguely remember joining a group build once before but I'm not sure about it now.

Well, seeing it is almost time to start this build I have finally chosen something to do. Being that it is an "OLD" Guns GB I will be building an "OLD" model. It is the Matchbox 1/32 scale SBD-5 Dauntless.

After becoming uset to kits like Trumpeter and Hasegawa and the like I am sure this Matchbox will be a challenge but that is what modeling is all about. See you in a couple ao weeks with the start.

4Sure,

No, premature construction is a problem we just have to accept as we get older.
